My suggestions would be to start a new thread with the headline:
Dinner -- Drinks in Austria.
Place three possible dates with the one having the most replies as the winner. Put the place for dinner and drink in the notice with some basic information about the gathering.
Ask if some other people would like to be leaders in the country they are now in. Because more than one gathering a year would be a good thing.
Ok. I suggested posting a new thread like Dinner -- Drinks in Austria. Personally, I would give 3 date choices, and go with the one whose response is the best. I would describe where it will be and approximate cost. Everyone is responsible for their own accommodations. You could e-mail Wedward for his thoughts on which places are the best. For the ones who cannot afford it, e-mail Wedward and maybe we could do an online auction or something so no-one is left out. It's a gathering of goodwill from country to country. And you can never have too much goodwill.
This was suppose to be the start of people meeting together in Malta; people from different countries. Instead it has envoled into chaos and confusion. Why? I do not know.
I am so sick and tired of people bashing Americans. Or constantly criticizing their president. In part, I blame the media for their distortion of the truth. Most Americans are very decent and caring individuals. They don't go around spewing out negative animosity towards other countries or the people that live in them.. On the contrary, Americans have helped others and even ... died for them.
I think people need to be concerned by a flood of immigrants from any nation. It can cause a mass of social and economic problems. To me, it is disturbing how the powers that be are trying to change the entire make-up of nations.
Yes, I think so too. How about it Gipsy and the others? Can you check out hotels, villas, prices im general and let uis know? Better yet, does anyone own a hotel?
Personally, I would like to meet Gipsy as she is like an daughter to me. She has an innocence, which is refreshing. Malta sounds like a beautiful island to visit.
Gallantry is never out of style. I have had men open car doors for me...buy me flowers...feed me with finger foods..and do all kinds of wonderful things.
