Perry Como was not only a great singer , but a really great guy. People truly liked him, I never remember hearing anything scandalous about him. I could see why women were some of his biggest fans. Thanks for the Youtube links.
Thank you for the posts Conrad, Perry Como was one of the greatest male vocalists of the 20th century, always enjoyed his Christmas albums and his tv show.
I like any songs by Vera Lynn. What a lovely voice she has. So few young people even remember her and how she brought our world through it's darkest days.
Is there any way to edit our posts in the messages on the forum? There's been a few times where I had a grammatical error and would have liked to correct them.
None of our American talk shows are as funny as The Graham Norton Show. Letterman quit being funny 10 years ago. Seems like he wanted to become the mouthpiece of the Democratic Party, not sure Colbert is any different, I've never watched his show.
