Does anyone here watch the show Vikings? Although they kinda romanticised the idea of vikings, the show in my opinion is worth watching.
I'm so excited with watching the latest and last episode of season 2. Time to get a can and get comfy. See yas all soonbeer

Haven't had TV since 1996, but did find Vikings on youtube. Vikings is a Canadian-Irish historical drama television series on The History Channel. Does look like a great watch. wine

I have only seen a few episodes but have enjoyed them from an entertainment perspective. Television has certainly romanticized our visions of vikings.Did you know that the average Viking man was about 5ft. 7inches in height and was not at all the tall blonde Norwegian type man that T.V. portrays them to be. professor wave

Yes, I've watched both seasons of Vikings. Ex Earl, now King, Ragnar Lothbrok (Regner, Regnar) and family will probably go on to raid in France and England again in season 3.

In real life, I believe, Ragnar met his fate by being thrown into a pit of venomous snakes by another King in England. Ragnar's sons avenged him. I think His Brother Rollo takes a liking to Normandy.

I haven't seen anything romantic about all the violence in this recount of the Norsemen though, especially the blood eagle episode.

Rather liked the season finale. Kind of thought all along that Loki would stay true to Ragnar and Bjorn. King Horic had a smashing end, didn't he......

Katheryn Winnick stars as Lagertha, is smoking hot, isn't she?

Yes, Lagertha is very stunning.
I've done a bit of reading about Ragna, and it seems, in my eyes, that they have mixed the 3 legends of Ragna, Regner and Regnar together. I think that maybe the next season will be the final one.
I just want to add as well, that I haven't sat down and watched t.v. in a number of years. There is so much crap on there no days, and even though you have choice of channels and shows, it still doesn't give you enough choice from most of the crap, so I download what I want to watch. It's like going to the shop and buying your favorite chocolate all the timegiggle
I was glad though that Floki stayed true to Ragna and the clan. I'll wait patiently for season 3grin

Hi serenewave
If you've watched and like Game of Thrones, then you'll love Vikings. It's not everyone's cup of tea, but at first I wasn't sure if I'd like it, and now I'm hooked;grin:

I didn't see any of season one and bits and pieces of this season. Some of the Viking women are very beautiful.
