People are happy but happiness doesn't mean staying married. Have our values changed.....of course. Check out what people watch on tv, what they buy standing in line at the super market. People are not interested in their own lives anymore they want to watch other people live and see what they are doing. If we compared ourselves to Hollywood we will never be happy with our own lives. We are not rich enough, powerful enough,our homes aren't big enough, our parties are small, our cars are affordable, are bodies are soft.....we are real and it is boring. The grass will always seem greener in Hollywood and people will be looking over the fence and dissatisfied with their own lawns.
It sounds like you need to bite the bullet and let him know. Sometimes prolonging the inevitable hurts more. Cut it off, everyone will be hurt and then let the healing process begin. Life is difficult!
It's a good thing that they alerted the media on this. If I were spending my time hunting food for my tribe I know I would make sure to read the newspaper for recipes.
give it some time...don't push the situaton. let it rest and apologize tomorrow at around 10:30 a.m. It will be on this persons voicemail...think about what you want to say. make it short and sweet and be patient and this person will call you back. Dating has changed dramatically in 23 years, hell it changed alot while I was married for 10 years. Do what you want to do. If a kiss is pushing your comfort level then stay comfortable.
