Sounds like he was really intimidated due to her height, that was very rude for him to do that. She needs to focus on the past positive experiences in her life and let go of this bad blind date. So, how to calm her down? That's probably going to take some time. At some point, her desire for companionship will over-come her bad experience and she's try dating again.
