If you wish to do rehabilitative work you must get written approval from the Department of Social Protection to retain your Disability Allowance or Blind Pension, not sure full time maunual work could be classed as rehabilitative!
Tell him when he has a job and pays the bills he can have the remote....until then You're the Mum and you own the remote, TV and electricity that runs it all!
