well in my experience guys dont chat me up and i definitely dont chat them up in a bar so for me they don't work but i know of poeple who have hit it off in a bar :)...it wont stop me trying :D
in my experience if someone isn't attracted to someone, in a club or whatever then they generally don't approach them so therefore they wont know what kind of a personality they have, unless of course its through a friend, and honestly im the same.
I've never went for a guy whos considered attractive, though those unattractive guys have great personalities and i knew them through friends, though if i were to see an unattractive guy in a club i generally wouldnt approach them, and thats not being shallow, its that i dont want to waste their time, so basically i wont know what their personality.
see, i don't believe people who say looks have nothing to do with it, unattractive people are always chosen last and i've experienced this with men chatting up my friends etc
well, there are a few of us who would uproot and move, even if it means leaving people behind. jumping on an airplane and flying home is an option if everything doesnt go to plan
i would love to move to the states. i plan on going to college and studying to be a social worker but it is on the cards anyway. most people i know have australia on the cards but for me it is definitely america :)
im guessing it is because men(and women) have this romanticised view of what the person of their dreams is, im my opinion we are aiming too high, we have to settle for a "nice" person really, though id love to think my ideal man exists. that would be cool :)
