On the job, this really ticked me off when I heard my supervisor making comments regarding the diversity in our unit, and tried to say there wasn't enough. I told her she had a, b, c, (not using names or ethnicities etc as it isn't relevant)... She actually turned around and said, "But b doesn't LOOK ethnic enough." What kind of crap is that????
Immigration, but there are those that are trying to claim it is a race issue. Basically, the illegal immigrants that are sneaking into the country, causing all kinds of problems, think they are above US law, and think they should be allowed to do what they want when they want, without repercusions.
Black people are given hiring preferences over white people, especially in larger corps and for state jobs. Blacks were also promoted more quickly. In the regular world, blacks are allowed freedom of speech that whites are not. They are allowed to use words and phrases that are considered taboo for white people. Just for two examples, do you need more, as these are very basic rights that all people should have, and should be treated equally.
No more affirmative action that just discriminates against white men. No more questions as to whether or not illegal immigrants should be held to the law like the rest of us. No more politicians hiding behind their positions to commit crimes and then just get away with them. No more "He who has the most money wins".
Had to laugh at the suggestions that blacks in America are anything but the most privileged. They are the ones that get all the special benefits and breaks that whites wouldn't dare even ask for unless they wanted to have that bogus race card pulled on them again. Worldwide, it is women and children that have been the most victimized since time began.
LOL As far as the "stink" some complain about, I prefer that to BO or a lot of those perfumes and colognes people take a bath in. Sure don't want to get stuck within 25 feet of one of them either, but funny how they don't seem to get the same rap as smokers, even though they should know by now that a lot of people are allergic to perfumes and stuff.
I think it is sad the way so many clubs and such are closing down, or about to, because of these new smoking bans. Also that the "regulars" have lost their "cheers" bars, where they used to be able to go and meet up with friends and all.
Would be best to just have those clubs that allow smokers, and some that do not. At least that would be fair and leave people with choices, and businesses still open and thriving.
Would be willing to bet that clubs that allow smokers would do better financially than those that don't.

I think you should all check the insurance rates. Maybe have changed since the last time I did, but, back then, women got better rates due to fewer incidents = better drivers. Men LIKE to THINK they are better drivers, but not the case. The theory for why women are actually BETTER drivers is because men rag so much they just don’t want to hear it, so take more care so they don’t have to. Seriously, that is what I was told, and it did kinda make sense. Between me and my male siblings, they have totaled every vehicle they have ever owned, me, none. No one has ever been able to catch me on the road if I didn’t want them to. Whenever a friend wants to “do the town” they want me to drive. Kids all tell me they feel safer with me than Dad…
Sorry, don’t think men are better drivers. I think it is a myth, just like the ones about larger breed dogs being more violent, especially the bad rap pit bulls have gotten. That isn’t true either.
I can't believe how many sheeple care about this in the first place. So many posts on so many threads about this same thing. Why do people care anyway? I don't even care enough to come back here and see IF anyone can come up with any other answer than "I have no life of my own" "I am just naturally nosy and want in everyone's business" "But everybody else does it"
Yes I am asking people who don't have english as their first language. Was just reading through a thread, where someone had posted something in what looked like it was meant to be english, but made no sense at all. Can only guess they are using a really screwed up translator or something. I see a LOT of this. Was just wondering if there were sites in other languages. Nope, don't know enough of any other language to even run a search in it, so I wouldn't know LOL Was thinking it could be interesting to do what those other people do (just use a translator to read/post in their forums).
Seems to me, since hair is so changeable, that if you LIKE your hair, and feel COMFORTABLE with it, you will be HAPPY, and that will show through your attitude.
I think it is a lot harder to deal with someone with a lousy attitude than to just buy them a hat LOL if the hair is a serious problem.
Agman, gotta disagree with what you posted. I may not be a farmer, but do know some. Still say we don't need to bring in criminals to do the work, because there are Americans who would do it. This open border policy would be a really bad idea. I think the lack of control in Mexico is part of the reason why they are so messed up. You read a lot about the drug lords going through Mexico from South America. Just one example of how it may cause more crime here in the states.
I do think that the big corps who make the money off them should be called into accountability. Not like you can believe any of them care about the general populace, just their own wallets. Getting tired of people getting them confused with "regular folks".
But if the immigrants came legally, and earned the rights of legal citizens, these companies couldn't use them as low paid workers now could they? These workers would be demanding pay equal to any other citizen. So, seems to me, stop the flow, and the availability of these illegal workers, and you stop the companies from being able to use them.
cristina, spare me the crap about there being any difference between an illegal immigrant and a criminal, same frickin thing, deal with it. Just because you don't like reality, or our laws, doesn't mean either don't exist.
I did NOT see any answers to my questions. What did your post have to do with the lie about the US needing illegals for jobs Americans won't do? Even if you are ONLY talking about farming, your comment still doesn't make sense, or hold water as an argument, much less a reason.
I also did NOT see any answer as to why they should be allowed to violate the laws as if they are better than everyone else. I mean so what if they aren't given all those benefits and rights, because they aren't supposed to be here in the first place. Why are you saying they should be the one group who should be ALLOWED to BENEFIT from their criminal acts? And why do you think the ONLY way to better themselves is by stealing from the US? Why can't they work on their own country? Keep yammering about what honest hard workers they are, then how come Mexico is such a mess?

I think Book got it pretty right on. Cop saw what he saw, no additional info, but the kid should have been released when the cop realized what a mistake he had made. Filing charges is just him trying to cover his stupidity, and should blow up in his face. What I wondered about was why any parent would still be giving their kids toy guns to play with, especially ones that can be mistaken for the real thing. And giving them to a teenager, in a public place, and walking away? Just how stupid was this broad?
I have two questions. 1. Why do people try to say that we have a use for these criminals, "to do jobs Americans won't do", when it is just a bald faced lie? I see that over and over, and it just isn't true. 2. And why should we excuse these criminals and not all? I mean if they should be allowed to commit their crimes with no repercusions, why do we have any laws at all?
Depends on what their issue was with the person, and if they knew more about them than I did. Years ago my friends warned me about some guy. I listened, found out they were RIGHT, so I dumped him. Most of the reasons you listed were pretty lame, but this guy being involved with serious criminal stuff was a good enough reason for me.
LOL of course men and women can be friends. Just plain stupid to think they can't. Men who are insulted by being called a friend would have too many issues for me to want them for a friend.
