When I read these sorth of threads those are my thoughts exactly....

I could give you so many answers,a nd reasons, and tell you about the people who rule my country and your country, but we could go for hours, hun.

I don't like discussing politics, countries, religion, football...hahhaa...cause people tend to get very passionate about it. I love my country but I'm not blind, I can see we have many bad things, hope we can all keep open eyes and an open heart.

RE: Let's say I break into your house

Ok, I usually stay away from these sort of threads, but I also have things to say, and I think I'm entitled to.

First of all...Elena...hermana I love you so...and I am glad you always stay calm and say what you mean.

Mexicans are not the only ones going to the states, if you people would be really, but I mean really informed you would know you have people from all over the world, and latins, yes, but not only mexicans.

Second, I also wish you can take a look at mexicans who have given so much for your country, and when you guys need a good athlete, from mexico, cuba or wherever, then it's ok, but when people just want a decent job then it's not.

Third, we have sooooooooooo many americans, canadians, french, israelians, etc in OUR country, mexico, you have NO IDEA, and do we treat them and talk about them like you do?, no, we don't, we welcome them, we try to make them feel like home. I've known people from the states, or england, for example, they have been living in MY country for over 10 years, and do they speak MY language?, no sir, they don't, don't even talk about asians, they NEVER learn any language.

Like Elena say, mindfful, we should try to look for things in common, not differences all the time, and BTW I love my country and not looking forward to becoming an american...thank you very much.

On the outskirts of a small town, there was a big,

old pecan tree just inside the cemetery fence. One day,

two boys filled up a bucketful of nuts and sat down by the tree,

out of sight, and began dividing the nuts.

"One for you, one for me. One for you, one for me,"

said one boy. Several dropped and rolled down toward the fence.
Another boy came riding along the road on his bicycle. As he passed,

he thought he heard voices from inside the cemetery.

He slowed down to investigate.

Sure enough, he heard, "One for you, one for me.

One for you, one for me." He just knew what it was.

He jumped back on his bike and rode off. Just around

the bend he met an old man with a cane, hobbling along.

"Come here quick," said the boy, "you won't believe what I heard!

Satan and the Lord are down at the cemetery dividing up the souls."

The man said, "Beat it kid, can't you see it's hard for me to walk."

When the boy insisted though, the man hobbled slowly to the cemetery.

Standing by the fence they heard, "One for you, one for me.

One for you, one for me." The old man whispered,

"Boy, you've been tellin' me the truth. Let's see if we can see the Lord."

Shaking with fear, they peered through the fence, yet were still unable

to see anything. The old man and the boy gripped the wrought iron bars

of the fence tighter and tighter as they tried to get a glimpse of the Lord.

At last they heard, "One for you, one for me. That's all. Now let's go get

those nuts by the fence and we'll be done. They say the old man made it

back to town a full 5 minutes ahead of the kid on the bike.

SMILE, God Loves You!

RE: Interculturally .....in love !!

Hey hun....wave

Another day, same thoughts.... wink

I have seen a lot too, a couple of my friends are married to people from europe, or arabs, different religions, cultures, etc..They're still together and very happy.

Yes, I've heard of bad stories, but that doesn't have to be MY story, does it? It all depends on us....
