KT, If your asking my opinon on makeup -- I look at males and females -- from body frame and the balance of the appendages--- to the character of the face and it's bit's----- minimal, cordinated, subtle, makeup, I believe does not hide the features. Scent as you intimate are of course another thing-- natural body smells of a hygenic person (even if they have been eating garlic)are the ulimate aphrodisiac- one would have thought. I'm waffling on a bit but- yes, if deception is a lie- then they are lies.
People wear many masks sometimes--- perhaps it's an ego thing - large or small -- nevertheless it's a mask and if that is how they are looking to establish a relationship on here--- they do not get my vote
