Think about it if you are paying to find love you will expect and demand more from it and work harder to make your money count. If it is free you just take it for granted and complacency sets in. It's kind of like if you bought stock in a company you expect it to go up to increase you chances on your ROI (return on investment) If somebody just gave you the stock you would not have any emotional attachment to it since you did not lay out the money yourself. Many fools on CS have no intention or any attachment and maybe don't want any kind of attachment to anyone. Many seem to be here to fool around add their quips and jokes to people who are perhaps seriously looking for answers to their problem. To play with people's emotions or make fun of them or play ignorant to another's question is in my opinion rather harsh. Nevertheless, if you ever have a serious concern about CS and the people on it hoping to get their opinion I hope they won't make jokes about it and prey on your weakness to find some character flaw you have. Many seem to do that. I also find it unique that as the quips progress the original question gets lost and forgotten. It really shows the quality of people we are dealing with here.
Many call me a great starter but not much of a finisher. I had a lady friend many moons ago while trying to get intimate with her. She always told me never to start what I cannot finish. Many years later after considering why she kept telling me that it dawned on me that many people were telling me that. Starting projects but never finishing them. Doing things half assed I know not how others are or willing to admit that they may start projects but never finish them but I would consider there are many here who probably are the same way. I learned this through those close to me who start things but never finish things. When it comes to your dilemma of starting your relationship with anyone are you sure it was started on a true foundation? or perhaps on false intentions you created? First check your own intentions then clearly you will see if your friends you make here are on the same page as you. You may find that few to none are not on the same page. More and more I see that nobody here is looking for love because they do not believe they are worthy of it so they play games peddling their points of view but probably do not believe half the crap they say. Seeking advice from strangers and people who may not have your best interest in mind may not be the best way to go. Only you know what is true for you. Everyone else's opinion including mine means nothing. Again check your intentions and then trust your instincts and follow your heart.

I have the video of Event Horizon and the idea of folding space and time like a piece of paper is noble but it would be the same as hopping on the Starship Enterprise. Unless our governments stop the killing and warmongering and focus our energies on building a starship that everyone can benefit from we are going to die on this rock. Our only hope in a realistic way is we need to build a ship in space. Perhaps make it nuclear powered big enough to support many people of value, plant gardens in greenhouses or place people in cryogenic tubes. Even then depending on the propulsion method under nuclear power it would be like a slow boat to China it would take years just to make it to Jupiter let alone outside of our solar system. Arthur C Clark's vision of our future in space is more realistic. A computer to monitor everything and yet the travel experience would be boring for many years. Unless we can be sure of a place to land perhaps there is hope. Perhaps we need to learn about the UFO's spotted since the Roswell incident. Hundreds of sightings since then in various parts of the world yet none have stayed long enough to say hello. They seem to have this space travel stuff down pretty good. Instead of shooting them down or hiding them we need to get their help from them.
I consider that many bite the hand that could potentially feed them. I honestly do not know why they call this a dating site when many really have no idea what they want or have any intention of building any kind of relationship. They should just call it an open forum site and leave the dating part out. Then we won't have to place any hope or expectations on each other. Besides they have other date sites like eharmony lavalife, plenty of fish just to name a few. The hardship is the world may be getting smaller to some degree but, it is still separated by oceans and land mass. However the hardest separation to deal with is between people. When we stop being so damn selective of who can smooth over our ego and make us feel comfy maybe people will learn to love one another.
I look for all the above but I know its rather unrealistic but 3 stand out the most honestly loyalty and dependability I can't imagine ever meeting a woman these days like that. I only had one in my life time many years ago but we had to let go for we could only go just so far. Aside from that she had those qualities I really adored as I gave her the same.

Al Qaeda is the one who probably is responsible for the attack of sarin gas or chemical or otherwise and because it happened in an Arab country who is not on the Al Qaeda side much like Egypt or Jordan of which it could have happened in either country Obama decided it would be fitting to pick on Syria knowing they are in the midst of their own civil strife against a pint size dictator Assad. With that in mind the hornets nest is stirred and now when Syria sees f18 hornets doing a flyby dropping mk82 smart bombs and the various ships the US has along with their toys of mass destruction prepare to meet the whirlwind. This is war is not shared by most of Americans this is solely the sandni**er's agenda. I can say this because I am 1/4 sandni**er myself. Yet, I am more German and American but mostly American I love my country but I do not like the voters who put this a**hole in office. I hope they are happy with the change.
Fascinating indeed After awhile the more you people quibble over who is right or wrong about this objectifying and almost starting a cat fight over this is rather a waste. Women will always be selective of their men no matter what age both parties are. I have in most cases had women much older than me not based on experience so much as making a mature emotional connection. As I grew older I became less mature and act like a baby now. My best years are behind me now so, young or old I would just be happy today to have any female put up with me. I used to think like this guy trying to intellectualize myself to death over understanding women. Today I give up for they changed the criteria of the test along with the questions. I can only say this that in some cases men who seek older women tend to be looking for a mommy that they could not attain with their own mommy. Sigmund Freud pointed out that we all tend to look for mom or dad because it's the only frame of reference we have in choosing a mate when we leave our parents or when our parents leave us. Women have this perception that an older man has much more experience and know how along with stability. Not every man has his crap together at midlife such as in my case. So, it matters not what motivates a woman wanting to hang with a guy young or old. If a young guy has his life together and has direction she is more apt to follow. If he does she will go to one who is together. The same for an older woman only the idea that both an older man and woman may have traveled similar rough roads so there is no BS to feed anymore. Women heard it all, suffered through it all, now they are wiser and more careful.

It is true that we are measured by taking action and getting results Many do manipulate for their own selfish gain. Many can say but not do what they say kind of like a politician Many will feed a bunch of BS to a person of all kinds of endearment but faith and love without works is dead.
It depends upon what you seek. If one is busy placing unreal expectations what quality does one expect to find? Many complain or ask if there are nice people here on CS consider your worth and value in yourself then give that to others you may find love when you are not obsessing about it. When the student is ready the teacher will appear.
