Please excuse my ignorance Merriweather, but were you born in Australia or in Europe? The history and buildings as you said in Europe are quite astonishing, but I personally would miss Australia if I had to leave it, hence the reason for the question to you.

Apparently they are forecasting strong winds again here in Vic, 100kmh. I was driving back from a small show I did for the elderly this afternoon and had to slow down to a crawl.... an.."Australian crawl".. Good name for a band?? due to a hail storm.

Thank you buddy, great comments. As for Robp, I take my hat of to him for serving this country, and I am dam sure it did scar him for life, as it did to all the other troops that went there, they did give up everything.

I have no hard feelings toward the man at all, he is entitled to have his say, but unfortunately, he posted the wrong comment at the wrong time in a thread that was meant to honour and respect people such as he.

Gee, I've been doing a little research on this, and the mind boggles. Theories range from the comet, it's name escapes me, cyborgs and robots with human brains implanted in them, mind control from dust particles in biologic weapon, sun flares that would cause electro magnetic force to shut done all electrical power and nuclear reactors, alien invasions, and the latest is the approaching of the second sun in our solar system and it's associated 7 planets!!

People claiming that a superior alien being interrupted a TV broadcast in the UK (once again youtube)and sent a message warning of the oncoming disaster and that they would do all they can to help us. Claims that the US government has known about this since the 1950's and has been building underground facilities to shelter 5000 of the most important people, and stuff the public..and have allowed Russian troops and other foreign troops into the country for crowed control.

Then there's the theory of a polar shift which scientist claim takes place around every 3200-3600 years, then there's the pyramid theory which ties in with prophecy's, and the list goes on and on, and by the way they claim that what ever it is started in August and will continually become worse until November and then last for a further 6 years. Why is all this based around the USA?? and no offence meant to you people in the US at all.

Certainly is, in fact I went to the Sale technical school, when I lived in Heyfield many moons ago, there were over 1000 students there then, and I haven't been that far east in years.

Wow, I use to look after one of the radio transmitters up there. There is some magic country here, I was away for a long time, interstate and in the end I just packed up and come home again, for that very reason.

It's funny that you people mentioned a scammer, I had comments posted on my photo from someone with hugs, kisses, teddy bears, and everything else under the sun and at the bottom was her email address!!!! The comments I deleted and her profile has been removed too.

I have a friend request from someone, but when I click on the link they don't appear in the incoming friends request list, I have searched the help files, but can't find anything of relevance, any ideas anyone? Your advice would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, who knows these days and I really can't comment to much as I did not live in your state. As you say she is/was a politician, and PR plays a big roll with voters, which is wrong, but people are vulnerable to this sort of thing and the politicians see it as a way to gain votes instead of policies.

I have followed the footy for over 50 years, but the way the AFL handled the proceedings this year with the supplements scandal, has turned me right off, for good, and yes Great win Hawks flag no.11 well done.
