Absolutely! It's the very same concept. They have their own culture, believes, language, traditions. i remember many years ago, the local government built them a couple of of apartment blocks, thegypsies moved in, burned all the furniture in the living room, still went to the toilet outside and brought the animals to the apartments on the lifts ( including donkeys). That's the way they are.
Not irish, but been here long enough. they are both right, the ring and Dingle are stunning. The Burren a bit up north, the Cliffs, Co. Clare in general. If you keep up north, I recomend Bunraty Castle on the way to Galway.
