I have control of my computer again - thankyou to all that helped with programmes to get rid of the ads etc.... It's nice having my emoticons again!!! Also I didn't end up buying a new comp... I bought a notebook instead...still learning my way around that but being a samsung, at least I know more or less how things work on it... I can't guarantee that the spelling or grammar will improve though...
I am still good friends with a guy I meet over 2 years ago...so some things are aren't all doom and gloom, but the good does shelter/protects you from the nasty side...
A meet and greet to meet someone face to face for the first time,sit down, talk and find out if that person is the same person who have been talking too over a period of time - now this particular man, I had a problem with - gawd he was chameleon - first his photo was 10 years out of date - mind you he still was good looking, witty, intelligent, engaging, charismatic, and charming - but when I said "no", he told me I was playing games - and like hell I was - however, I can't put the blame entirely on him, because the truth of the matter was, I wasn't attracted to him...and I didn't feel comfortable or at ease when I had to hold the top of blouse together, and my skirt down... THAT IS NOT A MEET AND GREET!!!
It's amazing, well for me it was - when on the other site and after my gc meet and greet, I am no longer a member of that site - I feel very safe here!!, afterall this really isn't a dating site lol. The frank and at times stupid comments from both young and old, that I received, came about 1. to test me with regards to "was I serious regarding platonic friendships, and 2. It is so "typical" of a female to have it all, and men on the side as an accessory - and when I did share what I really wanted at a later date - they vanished into the ethos... can't win either way....
What makes xmas special for you - mine is being surrounded by my children - listening to their good cheer and merriment, prior to ganging up on me - and what's worse, now I am the "short" one...
