RE: Why do younger men chase after older women here?

If it's a class 3 scooter, it can only be driven on the road at 8 MPH and 4 on the pavements.

RE: Why do younger men chase after older women here?

Mobility scooters can go 8MPH. professor

RE: Charlie Hebdo

Did those Christian fanatics make you fear for your life? Did they behead someone who didn't stop and listen to them?

Both answers I guess would be a resounding 'no'.

RE: help me score.

Was the second "Will you help me shower after I've had a yoga workout?"

RE: Charlie Hebdo

No. What we actually need, is for the terrorists masquerading as muslims, to be eradicated. They are the people giving other muslims a bad image, pun not intended.

RE: Charlie Hebdo

Exactly. It's just like the school playground, and each major religion is trying to keep the sunny end of the playground while the others try and get them to go and sit in the shade for a bit.

RE: Charlie Hebdo

I have read a lot about Islam. Don't assume I am ignorant of it because I'm a white female.
A lot of it should stay in the middle ages, but some of it is quite interesting.

RE: Charlie Hebdo

What you've just said, is they are hiding behind Islam and are starting something that Islam didn't want to start?

If that's the case, then it's all about nutters killing because they want to impress some Imam somewhere?

It's almost like the little kid that steals a box of chocolates to give to a girl he fancies. She doesn't like chocolate though.

RE: Charlie Hebdo

Fact? Your claim that Islam is "100% tolerate and peaceful" is fact? rolling on the floor laughing

I'm going to have to go and lie down now to rest my sides after they've got sore from laughing.

RE: Charlie Hebdo

Admit it. The terrorists were just looking for an excuse. Try and justify the other killings recently in the name of Islam.

I assume they've not seen South Park? That makes light of various religions. What's the difference there? Too scared they'd end up spending some dark nights with various American security agencies?

Face it. There's enough Islamic mentalists causing trouble in the world already. They don't need a reason to cause fear to innocents.

RE: Charlie Hebdo

A cartoon was drawn and that justifies people's murder? It seems that some of Islam's followers have a really fuccked up concept of acceptability. Are their lives so lily white that they can't be accused of doing wrong themselves? Though, just like the Bible, the Quran does contradict itself quite a lot.

It seems Islam is NOT 100% tolerant and peaceful (My, that always makes me laugh when that's claimed to be fact) as you claim, or this thread wouldn't even exist and those journalists and the policeman wouldn't have been murdered.

RE: Charlie Hebdo

It's not all about religion though, is it? Respect and the toleration of people's freedom of expression should not be questioned, let alone end up with people dead.

Us heathens which don't believe in a God no matter what religion it's from, tolerate religious people's freedom of expression, no matter how crazy they may be.

I used Christianity as an example, not as the competition. There are many faiths that are mocked, yet they just shrug it off and get on with their own thing. Only Islam seems to take it personal, but then it's only the fundamentalists that actually do so. The average Muslim couldn't care about the cartoon. They're usually educated enough to realise it's satire.

Though, I personally do draw the line at anything Westboro dredge up. That's just hate speech, which is technically illegal in several countries.

It's Not Always Better When It's Bigger.

That got your attention laugh

See if you can think of things that are better bigger, and things that aren't.

Example.

Better bigger - Lottery win

Not better - Heart attack

RE: water

Sounds like fun. Just remember to not become a lobster. The Zoidberg look isn't a good look.

RE: water

You're going to drink the Algarve?

I don't recommend that. People wee in the sea there. professor

RE: Good Morning Everybody

Like anywhere, there will be people that have those 'moments'. If everyone was super friendly everywhere, the world would be extremely nauseating.

RE: water

I tend to drink about two litres a day, three in the Summer if it's hot, which happens for about two days a year mumbling

RE: Charlie Hebdo

Tommy won't like that

RE: Charlie Hebdo

RE: Charlie Hebdo

So, how many Muslims (a rough percentage will suffice) worldwide were offended by that specific article?
I suspect it will be a very, very low figure. Most of them wouldn't have even known of it's existence.

Freedom of speech allows people to post what they like, so long as it doesn't break the laws of the land, or specific website. The publication expressed their right to free speech, as you are doing so here on this site.
There is distaste in every article somewhere. What one person may find amusing, will horrify someone else. It's all about perspective and accepting other people's ideas.

The terrorists just used that one to flex their muscles a bit. If they were to be aware of other sites, they'd be having kittens.

RE: Charlie Hebdo

No. The issue is caused by the terrorists that hide behind Islam. You're not defending them, are you?

As I mentioned before, do you notice the outrage that screams from the Christians every time The Life of Brian is shown, or Dogma, or any time that anyone makes a joke?

No. You don't. The reason? Because they're not savages that like to hide behind something to commit acts that outrage the world.

RE: Charlie Hebdo

I have no idea how to measure the humour in that post.

RE: Should I give up?

Call her more often. In fact, do it every twenty minutes, twentyfour hours a day, seven days a week.

If you can manage to do that for a whole three months, that will show her how committed you are.

Until then, you're just a wannabe romeo.
