A small part of me really, really wants her to now show the symptoms, just so she realises how stupid her actions are.
As a medical professional, she should be more than aware that just because it doesn't show now, there's still time if it's within the incubation period.
How many times have we all been in contact with someone with a cold, yet not developed a cold ourselves until a week or so later?
Maybe because the other people they encountered that night, were more tolerant and don't instantly assume it's a terrorist under that outfit?
Most of us break laws daily, from speeding to even singing Happy Birthday. Yup, the most commonly sung song, is protected by copyright laws. Do we all report each and every stupid law that is broken? No, we use our discretion and common sense and assess whether there's a threat or not that's likely to cause harm or damage.
Under that law, there isn't. Anything covering the face, is illegal. Wearing a balaclava? Then you're breaking the law. Religious attire? It's no different to the Christians wearing a crucifix, if you break it down to the simplest factor.
The law is very clear;
No person may, in the public space, wear clothing intended to conceal his face.
I. - For the purposes of Article 1 st , public space is made ??up of public roads and places open to the public or used for a public service.
II. - The prohibition in Article 1 st does not apply if the conduct is required or authorized by law or regulations, if it is justified by health reasons or professional reasons, or if it fits in the context of sporting activities, festivals or artistic or traditional events.
Yet, nobody had a problem with it as she travelled with her friend from wherever they were staying, until the second act of the opera, when a cast member suddenly had issues with it. Not one person in the audience or lobby of the the theatre, had any issues. Let alone anyone they encountered on the way there.
Yup, it's on DVD. Oh, you may not know what they are. They are like your old 78's you play on your gramophone, but smaller and can hold a whole film and are played in a small DVD player.
The theatre was happy to allow her and her friend to pay for the show, enter the building and watch the first act? Only the cast took offence? She didn't magically appear there, so between her hotel, or holiday apartment, she'd managed to not offend anyone else.
Kind of disgusting to be honest. Glad that they named the show, so if it ever shows in London, I know not to go and see it, especially if it has the same cast.
I know about the facial covering law in France, and I understand that she doesn't have to wear it, but it was her choice of outfit for the night. Does the same law apply in the middle of winter when people are wrapped up in wooly hats and scarfs? I very much doubt it.
I'm not a believer of the Bible, but I am aware of the agencies that disrupt Internet discussions. They are used quite a lot to disrupt and misinform, or even just to monitor the threads. They even go as far as to start threads to 'pull' people in. In severe cases, they are alleged to have threatened to have the site pulled, if the server details are not handed over.
A leopard won't change his spots. The counselling wasn't worth the effort if it wasn't heeded by him. He obviously has the mindset of a lot of people, and think it's a lot of crystal waving rubbish.
I know what to look for and haven't settled for anything less than I deserve, and all without paying to see someone who doesn't know the slightest thing about what my partner and me are like.
"Selling" wasn't meant in a literal sense. I thought that would have been obvious. It's used in the same manner as when someone says some crap, and you'd reply "I ain't buying that!"
Tried it. It didn't work out, so I'd say, 'no'. Not through lack of trust, just that the distance was too much hard work to fit between our careers.
Some LDR's can work, but you both have to be happy about it. I know personally of one that has been going on for ten years, and they're both extremely content about it.
The Iraqi army has had women for years. It's hardly a new thing.
ISIS are 'this years' Al Qaeda. Just another bunch of fanatics attempting to force their way of life onto people who don't want it. They will be wiped out eventually, but it's not going to be a quick fight.
Maybe they'll be wiped out by next years version of themselves? Who knows. For sure, the current battle, is only the start of a long and bloody war.
Family offering advice is a different ballgame to seeing some random counselor, who knows NOTHING about the people involved, and is paid. Especially as they'll have a 'paint by numbers' book that will be their manual.
I asked my parents and called my Grandparents, and neither felt the need to have counselling before they got married, nor while they're married. Any problems that may have happened, they worked it out between themselves.
Er, I didn't. I was agreeing with you, hence the 'thumbs up'. I was adding to your post with the rest of my text. It had NOTHING to do with YOU personally.
RE: view of the Earth from the far side of the moon
That would just be a Lunar Maria. Formed when lava flowed to the moons surface.
