Theres nothing wrong with it ..... you discover what you can and can't relate too, accept, be involved with .... it's just you discovering what is compatible with you and what isn't, and avoiding the " isn't " part.
Bar chords suck when you first start to learn .... will make you want to quit faster than anything else, so always start with the basic, easy stuff .... I've known too many people that wanted to be the next Eddie Van Halen 2 days after first picking one up, then they'd get frustrated and never try again .... learn to crawl before you walk before you run.
I have a tube amp head around here somewhere, a Scout I think, and have no use for it, so if anyone is interested, let me know. Last I knew it still worked.
All I have now is a Washburn WM2000 acoustic that I seldom play, but its probably my favorite of all of them I've owned.
I honestly don't know. Sometimes I prefer the sanctuary of walling that part of me off, and not worrying about it. I like the ideal .... hate the usual reality.
I don't see it as negative .... or being surrounded by negativity .... I have everything I need in here .... I wandered out many times, and found that, for me, it doesn't pay to try, or to look .... so I just avoid what has bitten me in the past, and what I don't want to be bitten by again any time soon .... is that so bad?
We got tired of getting trampled on in our quest for love .... so we're all hanging out down in the gutter, mending broken hearts, and not worrying about looking anymore.
