I haven't really started dating yet (widowed in '01) but I know I like tall guys with that kind of silly geeky personality and boyish good looks. Real gentlemen but with a great sense of humor.

I loveee Allen Lee Half (guy on the older episodes of Clean House) and I always had a crush on Steve Burns (as Blues Clues host not him now as a Punk Star lol)

I definitly do not like players or wanna-be "bad boys"...I feel embarrassed for those types of guys.

I wasn't sure if you meant during praise and worship or in general so here are two:

"When You Believe" from Prince of Egypt and just the fact that two of the most incredible voices in our time <Mariah and Whitney pre-druggy days of course) performed it together...uh LOVE that song. Love the movie version performed by Michelle Pfeiffer and Sally Dworsky.


"Breathe" by Vineyard UK...gets me everytime whether I'm at Praise & Worship or driving in my car or cleaning the house!

This is also my favorite meditation song when having a day of fasting and prayer. Which being a busy mom of three teens I don't get to do very often so its very cherished time!

As for me, I live 25 minutes outside of NYC and most of my extended family is still there...trust me when I tell you that everytime you go into NY you see something crazy and interesting...sometimes downright frightening!

Yea this whole thing is tough. I married my highschool sweetheart at age 19 and he passed in '01. I haven't dated yet and to tell ya the truth I often feel like a lamb being lead to slaughter =o(

Its all very hard and awkward. I really wish I'd meet a nice man at church...but I figure this is worth a try.

I think that gentleman was right...try posting a picture. I hate to sound shallow but a picture is usually what catches peoples eye at first.

Hi, I guess I'm kinda new as well. I have done the free thing with Match and NJ singles etc. But never really take it serious. Lately I feel really ready to date again (a whole revealation thing coming from God and all) to make a long story short...I have NO idea where to start, its been so long since I dated.

I'm at a really hard age to date...any other 30 sumthings having a hard time?? Or is it just me?
