There are a lot of people without photos. I hardly think the majority of them are not posting photo's because of privacy reasons. I rarely contact anyone without a photo. It just leaves too many open questions for me. On the outside chance the profile is great, I have however contacted/replied to them, but that's few and far between.
It may be different state to state. New laws were just put into effect here (Virginia). I believe now 1st offense DUI they give you a restricted license and a $1500 - $5000 fine. Speeding tickets have gone up dramically, especially if you are cited for reckless driving. Your insurance company can drop you also in addition to getting your license pulled. Check with your local DMV and/or your insurance company.
I was sent yet another email from scammers. I've reported 2, and haven't been on this site a week yet. Sorry you learned the hard way. In addition to what you've said about checking (which I didn't know about), I match up their profile to the emails sent to me. More times then not, their profiles are spotlessly written, but their emails are constructed like a 5 year old wrote it.
I don't make it a habit of arguing or name calling. I've never resorted to name calling. However, there have been times (very recent) I read something that gets under my skin. And I speak my mind.
I don't condon anyone's bad behavior. There will always be those who are argumentitive and totally rude. If you post, you have to be ready for rude comments and back-lash. It's easy to hide behind your monitor and cause trouble.
