I see no Coup d'Etat there, only Democratic Elections, fortunately for You Americans. Coup d'Etat is only about the Military (as Juntas did in South America) taking the Power by Force.
As a French Citizen, I can tell you that it was a pure provocation from the Trouble Maker. The Law Anti-Burqa has been applauded and very well accepted in every direction.
But as always, some Radicalists think they are allowed to transgress the Law, whatever the topic is. And then, keep provocating.
