Yeah I modified the muffler so it sounds like a giant fluttering moth. In hopes of attracting them. I have a large enough Shipping crate from the local factory. so that's not a problem.
Earlier this year three silver unidentified flying objects were seen hovering above Chorlton, South Manchester.
In a second sighting, an orange ball was spotted high above Irlam, Salford.
Before John’s sighting, the last recorded run-in with a UFO in Oldham was on September 9, 2006, when five orange fireballs were spotted in the sky. There was also a cigar-shaped object in 2004 and in 2000 in Saddleworth. The fourth, back in 1999, was a bright white light.
l Between 2000 and 2006, air crews reported UFOs on 13 occasions. A spokesman for the Civil Aviation Authority said: "Sometimes UFOs are weather balloons. sometimes they are military jets and, sometimes, we just don't know."

Description: My partner and I were stood outside our back door having a quick cigarette, and I noticed an object in the sky above us. At first I thought that it was a plastic bag drifting by high up in the sky. However there was no wind at all, and it moved far too quickly to be a bag. There were patchy clouds in the sky and it seemed to dissapear above them whilst passing over. The object was a dull white, but when it flew over the direction of a more populated part of town the orange street lights reflected off the bottom of it. I am completly stumped as to what it could have been, and there may be a logical explanation. We see alot of planes flying near by as we live near Manchester airport, however it made no sound and had no lights on it. We also see many satellites, it was alot closer though and we could work out the angles of it. My parter describes it as Jellyfish shaped, it had a flat bottom and a triangular/rounded top side. It seemed very irregular at first, which lead me to believe that it was an upside down plastic carrier bag. But it moved too directly and steadily to be caught in the wind, and it would be very easy to miss if you were surrounded by bright lights - as it was quite dull in the night sky. I really hope that someone else saw it, or can explain what we have seen.
Color/Shape: Pale, Shaped like a Jellyfish - flat bottom with a triangular/rounded top side.

Description: I saw a large round/oval greeny/white disc shape take off from the ground and fly horizontally about 2 or 3 hundred feet in the air. It was a long way in the distance but seemed to be moving very quickly. It was visible for a few seconds only before disappearing behind a block of high rise flats close to me. It was a strange sight and took me by surprise. I even questioned myself afterwards. Had I seen a UFO? Never have before! I'm 48 years old!
Color/Shape: Green/white round/oval disc (could have been the sun glinting off it?)
Height & Speed: 300 feet. speed unknown but seemed VERY fast compared to planes I see all the time
Big Foot - alive and living on the Chase Feb 8 2006 -- Exclusive By Mike Lockley
Paranormal magazines are investigating claims - first made in The Post - that a Big Foot type creature is roaming the dense woodland of Cannock Chase.
And they have gained a number of eyewitness accounts to add weight to allegations that Sasquatch - as Red Indians dubbed the creature - is alive, well...and living close to you.
Respected X Files reporter Nick Redfern has monitored sightings from Castle Ring to Slitting Mill.
And all of the locals who spotted the mystery beast give the same description: a giant, hairy creature with blazing red eyes.
Jack Haughton sparked the Big Foot alert with a sighting in the early hours of February 18, 1995, on the Cannock-Rugeley road.
Writing for Fate magazine, Mr Redfern reports: "She was suddenly forced to swerve the car and narrowly avoided collision with a large, shambling creature that stepped into the road at a distance of about 20 feet.
"Considering that she was traveling at high speed, said Jackie, it was a miracle that she didn't hit it. The encounter lasted barely a few seconds, but she had caught sight of the animal and said it was man-like and tall, very hairy, with two self-illuminating, glowing red eyes. It quickly vanished into the trees."
Jackie's claims gained credence when a motorist and his party recorded a sighting on a night in September, 1998.
One of the party-of-four said: "It was a tall, man-like figure, sort of crouching forward. As we passed, it turned and looked straight at us. In my own words, I would describe it as around 6ft 8ins tall, very strong looking and with a darkish, blacky-brown coat. I just could not explain it and I still get goosebumps thinking about it."
Alec Williams had an eight second encounter with Big Foot at Castle Ring - an ancient monument - in April, 2004.
He is adamant he saw a seven-foot tall creature, with short, shiny, dark brown hair, large head and eyes that glowed bright red.
Interestingly, Williams claims he saw 'what looked like a camera flash' coming from nearby woodland and heard an owl-like cry."
Am I getting closer to you Lova? This ones from 2004
WINGED WIERDIE SEEN IN WEST MIDLANDS, UK
On Monday, March 8, 2004, at 9:30 p.m., Steve Nicklin and a friend "were walking across" Northicote Farm in Wolverhampton, West Midlands, UK "nearby an old Tudor farmhouse" when "me and a friend saw a humanoid greyish figure with a human-type head standing in a tree (part of many trees that border the farm; these were tall pine trees, and the figure stood in the top branches--S.N.) We estimated its size at around 7 feet (2.1 meters). It had two legs and two arms connected to membrane-type wings. Its clawed arms seemed connected to these wings, a bit like a pterosaur."
"It moved its head and looked directly at us, since the moon was full and there were street lights not far away (the farm is near a heavily-used road--S.N.). It turned its head from us, took one giant leap and glided to the next tree. The tree bent under this creature's weight as it took the impact."
"It then turned its head to look at us once more. Its gaze felt that it could look into our very being. We both felt quite scared (even though my friend is an ex- artillery officer in the Territorial Army and has done a lot of night patrols--S.N.) We both fled quickly."
"We sat down and discussed what we had seen. It was a creature the like" of which "we had never seen before nor want to ever see again."
The U.K. has it's share. Lake monsters as you must already know. Heres abit more from the UK
In 1989 Gavin and his girlfriend Sally, (both pseudonyms), two young teenagers on a walking holiday, were on the fringe of woods and shining their torch beam across trunks of trees about fifteen feet off ground. The trees are recalled as possibly being large conifers. At about 9:30 p.m. they too saw the Owlman, and describe it thus:
it was standing on a thick branch with its wings sort of held up at the arms. I’d say that it was about five feet tall. The legs had high ankles and the feet were large and black with two huge ‘toes’ on the visible side. The creature was grey with brown and the eyes definitely glowed. On seeing us its head jerked down and forwards, its wings lifted and it just jumped backwards. As it did its legs folded up. We ran away.
This is the only sighting that definitely can’t be linked to Doc Shiels.
Apart from Gavin, the Owlman seems to only be seen by girls aged from eight or nine up to sixteen years old.
To the people of Cornwall Doc Shiels is a very well known name, although he no longer lives in the county. In the early 1960s he became a professional showman, and called himself the 'Wizard of the Western World'. But he is really better known as a surrealist painter, and has had numerous exhibitions. Some of his paintings have been hung in the Tate Gallery.
RE: Not new
So the peeing your pant's in public is O.K. then? Great, now you need a news crew or friend with camera.
