I agree - romance is not all about big over the top gestures - its a kiss on the forehead as he gets out of bed in the morning, its letting u wathc ur girly movie on a nite in, its sending u a txt msg during the day saying "Smile, I love u!", its cooking u ur favourite meal so u dont have to do it when u have had a hard day, its running u a bath so u can relax, its giving ur hand a squeeze when u are in a crowded room talking to people...............its a million other things, that without, I wouldnt be able to have a relationship!
For me romance is a necessity for many reasons. For one, I think that if there is no romance in a relationship I dont feel as wanted or as cared for.........especially if there is no affection. I think that I have really liked people who were not romantic or affectionate and then after a while it just fizzled out because I lost interest. When I was in love, there was romance and affection and plenty of it, it made it more interesting, more exciting..........
without romance and affection can there be passion?? I dont think so and I think that a good relationship needs passion. So really I couldnt be truly happy in a relationship if there was no romance, affection, or passion.........to me, if these three things are not there in a relationship its not really a relationship, its a friendship!
I dont mind cooking them - but just feel bad giving him the same things all the time - I am really happy that he does eat fish - he is the only 3 yr old I know that can tell you he prefers Seabass to Plaice!!
He is 3 - he is great at feeding himself and has a good appetite........but everyday he wants pasta or fish and I am running out of things to do with them!!
Remember reading a book before - people who had alot of emotional baggage were made to carry around a suitcase with bricks in it - each time they dealt with part of their past and moved on...they could take a brick out.....so eventually it became easier to carry around their case as did it became easier to get through life! Until one day they had no emotional baggage and no suitcase full of bricks!
Is it just me or does anyone else have a thing about the height of their date/ partner???
I am 5'6...which is tall enough for a girl I think...but I hate if a guy is not at least 4 inches taller than me - I just feel weird when I am wearing heals or whatever and we are the same height or worse still - I am taller than him!!!
I am not shallow or anything but I cant help this way of thinking.....maybe it is a protection thing, like being with a taller guy makes me feel safer or somethin - anyone else have this problem!??
