yes, if you give everyone equal footing in your book, you not only feel good about yourself for treating everone equally but people respond to kindness, geniuness.
Thanks, and You Rock Girl!!!! Good on you for making the change.. its scary but we get through it if we have strength in ourselves. You are very lucky to have family. I am alone in the world except my new finance.. so I was terrified to leave a stable life, blah life but now I have passion, desire, purpose and happiness..
Good to know its normal. We are all out here living life the best we can and sometimes have to ask others if we are ok, ya know? Thanks for posting.. Did you decide you made a good choice for you? I did..
That's awesome. I love positive outlooks in life. It makes it so much easier to be around, a friend and just to enjoy life. I am looking foward to this new adventure in my life. I am happy for the change even though it took me 3 years to decide to do it. I feel like a new woman and have a new chance at life.. Life rocks!!!
Well as most of you know, I am gettting married soon. My ex of 20 years just left for Utah from Oregon realizing its over between us. I am glad he is moving on but find it makes me reflect on the first 20 years of my life and how my life is changing with a new apartment, new man. I am very happy except I couldnt keep my dog. I am not allowed animals so my ex took Zoe. That has crushed me as I love her. Have you changed your life and is it normal to reflect on the past? I am a little nervous knowing I am about to trust completely a new man and wish our life last as long as my 1st marriage did. Life... so interesting, challenging huh? wine:
My take is to not discount yourself. What's the harm in going out for a drink. You dont have to believe he likes you or anything just go with the premise of meeting someone new, a possible friend.. what the heck..
What I did is just go out to places I liked. I had friends set me up on dates, go to ladies night once in a while. Although its hard to date, really it sucks.. but after a while if you have good friends you should be ok. With you on the road its going to be tougher for you. I was dating on line and ended up engaged to be married to a guy from my local town so you never know. Good luck to you.
I did the on line dating scene.. I find guys like us girls have our special idea of who we want to date.. Some are superficial and some dont care about body types. I am a semi thick girl and went on a lot of dates. Some good some bad. The trick is to find someone who loves you for the adorable, awesome caring person that you are. I am engaged to a guy I thought wouldnt be my type and we fell in love.. You just never know.. You have to pull alot of weeds in your quest for a beautiful rose.
