It's hard not to, because you have to wonder if certain things in the relationship worked to cause the ending. If that made any sense at at all....it did to me anyway lol
This guy I used to work with had named his Captain Winky......You should have seen us when the Captain Morgan commercials come out LOL He came in one day and all us women stood @ the break table with one leg on the bench....he said," WTH are ya'll doing?" we all said, "Everybody need a 'lil captain in 'em"...... We're so mean
HOT!!! HOT!!!! HOT!!!!! In moderation. I want him to be able to dress nice when the situation calls for it without tattoos everywhere!
I've got 4 tatoos and 2 piercings my nose, and my tongue (ahem ShipPoker!!!!) And no, it's not a boar's tusk through my nose either...you can barely see it in my pic.
I would have to say that I probably would for the following reasons:
You like animals, and even have pics of them posted on your profile. Being an cat-lover myself, I really like that. I'm not much of a dog person. I like them, but it's usually after get to know them and I get attached.
You Cook - I mean come on! As a woman who abhors being stuck in the kitchen, I would love that!!
You like outdoors and fishing - so that would probably include camping.
It seems like we would have enough things in common to be able to have decent conversations, and enjoy doing several of the same things.
When I think of the most romantic song, I have to think about my grandparents. The were married over 50 years before she passes away. She's been gone for 12 years, and my grandfather still visits her grave everyday. Talks bout her and their memories quite often. Not in a sad way, but talks about when he'll see her again on the other side. With that being said, if I hear a song that reminds me of their beautiful relationship I think it's romantic, because a love like that is rare.
The most romantic song I know is Love, Me by Collin Raye:
I read a note my grandma wrote back in nineteen twenty-three. Grandpa kept it in his coat, and he showed it once to me. he said, Boy, you might not understand, but a long, long time ago, Grandmas daddy didnt like me none, but I loved your grandma so.
We had this crazy plan to meet and run away together. Get married in the first town we came to, and live forever. But nailed to the tree where we were supposed to meet, instead Of her, I found this letter, and this is what it said:
If you get there before I do, dont give up on me. Ill meet you when my chores are through; I dont know how long Ill be. But Im not gonna let you down, darling wait and see. And between now and then, till I see you again, Ill be loving you. love, me.
I read those words just hours before my grandma passed away, In the doorway of a church where me and grandpa stopped to pray. I know Id never seen him cry in all my fifteen years; But as he said these words to her, his eyes filled up with tears.
If you get there before I do, dont give up on me. Ill meet you when my chores are through; I dont know how long Ill be. But Im not gonna let you down, darling wait and see. And between now and then, till I see you again, Ill be loving you. love, me. Between now and then, till I see you again, Ill be loving you. love, me.
I have no idea!! I'm horrible in geography, unless I've actually drove to the place myself. No sense of direction - would get lost trying to find my way out of a wet paper bag! I have heard of it though. Actually, with global warming, the winters haven't been that bad. Cold, but not much snow or ice.
I lived so close to Pigeon Forge and Severiville, that my school took field trips to Dollywood every year. (Sadly, I can remember when it was called "Silver Dollar City" which just tells me I'm getting older. LOL)
The cabin you rented sounds picturesque. Having grown up there, I know that the view of the Smoky mountains are stunning! I moved to Hampton VA about a year ago. Being 30 minutes away from Virginia Beach, there are no mountain views and all the roads are flat. It's a definite change from where I grew up. I can't wait to visit home again so I can drive on some curvy, hilly, mountainous roads.
My ancestors are originally from NC as well. My grandfather is really occupied with our family history and is familiar with that area as well.
Thank you for the welcome. I have met some wonderful and funny people. The forums keep me so entertained that I have to check in at least twice a day just to have a laugh! Even if I don't meet Mr. Right, I have certainly met several Mr. Entertaining's.
