My condolences Coldheaven. My mother's burial was about 10 thousand dollars. My father wanted to be cremated but he paid for it before he died so I did not know the cost of that, but he did pay for the gravestone and plot for himself and my mother. He died over 8 years ago and my mother about 4 years ago. He bought an ornate gold-plated box for his ashes with the request that the funeral director to keep it until my mother died and that box was to be put in the casket with her.
