RE: why am i still single

The proposals for me have come from mainly African and Turkish men. Most are good looking. Decisions decisions. Just wonder how many of them want to marry just so they can get into the US. I've had them tell me like pretty much right off the bat that they love me without getting to know me first. And then comes the question.

Grew up without my father, so I never had parents fighting. But I used to fight tons with my sibs. I'm next to the youngest of 6. The sister just older than me is the one I'm constantly at ends with. We used to throw things at each other. We would also kick, hit, and pull hair. Now it's my oldest daughter and my niece (the daughter of the sister who I always faught with) who do all the fighting. Infact, just over a week ago my niece, who's 15, was mouthing off to me and said some things she shouldn't have. My daughter who's 14, got up and slapped my niece. My niece jumped up from where she was sitting, grabbed my daughter's hair, and started punching on her. My daughter was punching back. I pulled my niece off my daughter, and ended up getting kicked several times. Then my niece threw a glass ashtray at me and left a bruise on my arm. Well I'm not the only one that ended up with bruises. My daughter left a couple bruises on my niece's face. They kissed and made up about 3 days later. My niece mouths off all the time. Just waiting for the day when I daughter just lays my niece out.

Well I've never been to any of them myself, but as far as my heritage goes, my ancestors came from all 3 countries. And there is a castle called Eilean Donan in Scotland, which is owned by some of my distant relatives. It's located in Dornie, near the Kyle of Lochalsh. It's the most visited castle in Scotland. It's also been used in movies such as Highlander and Entrapment. If you do a search for it on the internet, you can find out all you need about it, history and all.

My family fights every Christmas, but we still get together. Christmas Eve is also my mom's b-day, so we make a pot of homemade Razor Clam chowder (Which we dig ourselves when the clamming season is open) and sometimes let the kids open some gifts early.

Hmmmm. Well when we're babies we can cry and pee at the same time. And I know that through my years I've had no problems doing either at the same time.

I'm a Gemini, but I get along better with Aquarians than Scorpios. Scorpios are the complete opposite of me. So I have to say Aquarians are the better of the the 2.

The hardest time in my life was when I was 27 and diagnosed with breast cancer. I was fortunate enough that they caught it in the first stage, and that I didn't have to have chemo or radiation. But it was still so wide spread that I had to have a mastectomy with recontruction. I couldn't lift my youngest, who was just barely a year old, for several weeks. I could have someone set her on my lap for me to hold her, but it wasn't the same. And after the original surgery, I ended up having 3 more surgeries.

In my experiance, 9 times out of 10 giving a second chance was a mistake. Your best bet is like Ice said, to burn the bridges and sever all ties between the 2 of you.
