You don't even have to get married to take the same last name. Everyone is allowed an alias.
I think the younger people get married because they were raised to believe that when you're inlove with someone and vise versa, that getting married is right thing to do. I think that sometimes marriage ruins a relationship. But others it makes their relationships stronger.
If I find my soul mate, I might marry him. Then again I might not. Only time will tell.
My grandparents on my mother's side have always been speical to me. They were married for 55 years before my grandfather died of parkinsons when I was 14.
My grandmother, though only attending school up until she was in the 8th grade, was a brillant woman. If any of us kids had a question about something for homework, she'd answer it for us. She used to tell us stories about what it was like growing up in the great depression and what not. I always loved hearing her stories. Just wish I could remember them all. She's always been a sweet, kind hearted, and loving woman.
She's always been a sweet, kind hearted, and loving woman. She taught my mom how to treat other people, and in turn it was taught to me. I was taught to respect other people. I was taught the general polite manners of please and thank you. I was taught that you treat others the way you want to be treated and so on. I'd like to think that out of all my family, I'm most like my grandmother.
Yes American Idol does have an age limit. But America's Got Talent doesn't. And you're never too old to show your talent.
I used to write poetry when I was younger, but lost all my material. I have some stuff I wrote last year that just sucks. I was reading through it this morning.
So the only thing I can do is sing. Once in awhile I'll go sing karaoke. Songs like It's Been Awhile by Staind, When the Children Cry by White Lion, and It's Your Love by Tim McGraw. One song I've been singing at karaoke for 11 years is God Blessed Texas by Little Texas. I know it so well that I don't have to look at the tv screen.
Like everyone else, I'd have to say that age is only a number. It all depends on how you get along. For example, my best friend is only 23 and I'm 32. I'd hook up with him any day because we get along so well. But he decided to get with a girl who was closer to him.
