Unfortunately some do dare… You just have to pray that they do it at the beginning of the date so you can sneak out and not waste the entire evening with a bonehead…
I guess it really depends on weather or not you have truly experienced love or not… Those of us who are not really sure… Would more likely be willing to give up everything, than those who have loved and lost…
I say this because those who have loved and lost are filled with a pain that keeps them from looking for another… Those of us who are not sure they have ever truly loved another, want to know what that feels like more than anything and are more willing to give up everything to know that level of happiness…
You have to make an effort… Sounds silly, but you have to find something that you really enjoy doing more than your career… Some need more than one thing to obtain an even balance depending on how much you love your career…
You don’t have to give up your career to maintain a healthy life… You just have to remind yourself that you are not the God of your company… There are other people there that can fill in, they may not be as good as you are, but they can get by until you come back. The company will not vanish off the face of the earth if you disappear for a week… It will be there when you get back.
