Not read the whole thread but I suspect you are right Trish insomuch as it is a multi profile poster, but surely not EBR. I don't think he's been on here for quite some time, and anyway it's not his style. Besides he was far too intelligent for these kind of remarks.
As an employer it annoys me that the government should impose this on small businesses when many of us are struggling to survive. If people want to take the day off for this event perhaps they should be free to do so, but to force this upon us is, imo well out of order.
