I am the happy dog owner of a four year old rat terrier mix named Griffin. After graduating from college I lost contact with some of my friends, who moved back to their home states after graduation, and I have spent the last few months looking for work. It can get lonely sometimes, so having Griffin around has been a big help in keeping my chin up. He's my best buddy and I don't know what I'd do without him. He has also been a blessing to my family because in his four years with us he has saved us from not one but two attempted home invasions. Yes, I am definitely a dog supporter. However, my brother is not. He insists that cats are the better pet; though he won't give me any reasons why. I have nothing against cats, I think kittens pretty cute, but I just prefer dogs. How about you guys, what are your thoughts?
So, I'm new to the site and I knew that I'd very likely have to deal with a message here and there from men my grandpa's age, but it seems like every time I log on I have a ton of messages from men in their 50's to their 70's. Many of their messages are very XXX and leave me wanting a shower and by now I'm staring to think I'll never find someone special. Please tell me I'm not the only one experiencing this.
Christmas means that time of year when everyone is just a little bit happier and little bit kinder to each other. It means hot chocolate with whipped cream and cinnamon, grandma's special gingerbread men, putting up the tree with my family, trips to Christmas Tree Lane, Christmas Carols, watching It's a wonderful life with my mom, and me and my brothers running around all Christmas eve night with jingle bells outside our little brother's window.
For me the problem is distance and age. There are a fair number is men on CS in the surrounding towns but they don't really seem interested in me, and the men who have show interest unfortunately all live in another state or over seas. Secondly, a majority or the messages in my in box are always from men around my grandfather's age and are highly inappropriate. Sadly, I have a blocked list that continues to grow. All I want is a nice, funny, and loyal guy. Is that so much to ask for?
I've only been a member on the site for a few weeks and want to find someone special, but I am also cautious of scammers. So, when a guy's first message to me is a number or email, or request for my Facebook or Skype infor that can worry me quite a bit. Your not old fashion. You just have good common sense.
