We all do things we regret...all of us...we are not supposed to be judging other people..I had to have one when I was 18...do I regret it? no...because he would have been born having to suffer his whole life...how can I inflict that on him..I got many a "bad views" of me over that...I was 18 how could I possibly have given him the care that he needed?

I went to the flea market and saw a stand that was selling games for Nintendo 64...that was an old game system..he said that I could get about $60 for my old sytem..parents are fed up with having to replace all the scratched discs from the childrent using them!...don't believe the others will ever come back..love my dvds! and glad to be rid of the cassette player!

It is what it is supposed to be about...no better feeling in the world than to put a genuine smile on someone's face..old or young!

I took extra gifts to my son's second grade class...in case someone was left out..one little girl who is in a big family and is always helpful in class, said she didn't think Santa was coming..too many sisters and brothers, I gave her a gift marked from Santa...told her it was for the way she was so helpful and caring with her siblings...the look in her eyes left me in tears...she was so truly greatful...she hugged me soo tight...!


Just wish people would open up more...look around you..kids are a great inspiration

Like gave a child a gift that won't get many or any and watch the smile on their face or gleam in their eyes?


Not just to some organization that passes out gifts to just needy...I mean in person..gone to a nursing home or touched some one's life in any selfless way?

Yes and I have......mexican heritage...love most of their culture....their food is divine! We had the same religion but you have to respect the man more in their culture...if you don't your relationship will not work..I had to give in a lot...why did we split? He cheated on me...at least 3 times!...no need to say more!

Thanks for that! But this was when I was 19 and a new mom...I haven't messed with them since!

My problem is when people like my cousin who works full time and has no underage kids at home and still getting over $200 a month! She is not ill and is always talking about dieting!!!!

Well that is the thing....there are no kids involved!!!! They are both my age or older with no kids in the home...my cousin has her daughter at home but she is 24!


And yes we do have the card....but the vegitable stands that also sell Christmas trees...yes, they do take them!


Didn't mean to sound like I was gonna snitch...not my problem...just we are all screaming for change over here but everyone just seems to want to ignore the problems that do exist! But look at me...I struggled without them and made a good life for me and my kids...state to state varys, this I know, and I by no means am saying that struggling families don't deserve them...just saying it makes it harder on the ones that do need them when there are people out there that go for the free ride...and yes, I know, the gov't lets them
