It surely takes guts to speak your opinion on a hot or controversial topics. But we are free people and i think we are obligated to epxress out thought in the public. In a civilized way of course, and try to avoid being heretic. Nice thread mbcasey!
I think it wouldn't pose a problem...In the beggining it might be somewhat problematic but if there is respect for the other's religion and understanding i think it wouldn't be a problem.
And of course we must consider something else before blaming murderers for their gruesome actions. We must first blame society for giving birth to murders. Because i don't think anyone believes that a murderer is born. A murderer is made. And society has to be blamed first of all..So isn't it a bit hypocritical for society to kill the people it gave birth to?
I don't feel for the murder...I just don't believe that anyone has the right to take lives....Of course you will ask if the murderer has the right to take lives. No he hasn't the right....But i think this issue has to be settled once and for all.....By the goverments.
Well i think is entitled to his own opinion. But i want to ask this. Shouldn't be death penalty (or not use of it) be globally accepted or globally rejected? In europe, as far as i know, the countries have rejected the death penalty. I am sure they did it for a good reason.
