Although there are some winners listed in the poll, I think, even though much of it is dessert, Utah wins my vote I think the whole state should be declared a National Park. .
It may not be my biggest fear {loosing younger family members would be) but one I think about too often (being retired) is running out of money before I have my last breath.
While reading another forum I came across word that describes another characteristic I think is vital for any long term relationship. The ability to compromise. I understand that some beliefs and standards cannot be adjusted, but much of everyday life is somewhat trivial and should be open to compromise for the sake of peace.
Of course my last couple of posts addressed the number sequence of 1 3 7 15 which was not the original post. It was 1 3 5 7 which to me is the start of a infinite sequence of odd numbers. Maybe Instincthis will let us know the answer to the puzzle.
To tell the truth I'm not sure what I'd spend it on. The one thing I do know is that I would try to keep my kids and grandchildren from finding out. Hopefully keep them form turning into bums.
I eat nothing but 0 fat frozen yogurt- --The only problem with that is that once you get used to it you can never allow yourself to eat the real stuff.
Well, I'm closest to Eagle Mountain, but its still a 3 hour drive, in two more I can be in Vegas. I've been practing my Blackjack.double your money in a couple of hours.
I was surprised when reading through all the posts on this forum that nobody mentioned either "craps" or "blackjack" . Blackjack has probably the best odds of any of the table games. Assuming, of course, you really know what you are doing. Back when I did more gambling I did a good job of losing.
Well Prdro, as I'm sure you know the odds in roullete are all based on the fact (on American wheels) that there are 36 potential paying numbers plus 0 % 00, house Numbers. This gives the House a 5.26% edge. Poor odds even for a casino. There is no strategy that will beat this in the long run. Your ahead now, quit or just have fun.
This is a continuation of a previous post of mine from a few days ago.
Sharia law is the law of Islam. The Sharia law is cast from Muhammad's words, although some interpertation by Islamic clergy is allowed. It refers to a set of principles that govern the moral and religious lives of Muslims. So I do not see it as an ideology (as defined in my previous post)
Regardless of how we or any follower of Islam think of this the Constitution trumps all.
.Into handguns are you, I'm a shotgum man myself. Had a chance to shoot a high end Les Bear 1911 a couple weeks and missed it. When the chance comes up again I will not pass on it.
Thread: Viktor Orban won again(by lindsyjones) I'm a bit different on Islam as religion.
It's more of an ideology.
Which threatens our constitution with Sharia law.
I'd love for you to opine on my thoughts.
Maybe I'm wrong.
I had to go to my 40 year old pocket dictionary on this, it defines ideology as "the study of an idea or abstract or .fanciful speculation". Religion is defined as "a belief in god or gods and the manifestation of this by worship through prayers or rituals. So which is it, if we are talking about "Sharia Lae" I have to admit that I'm very weak on an understanding of Islam. Is this law written into the Koran. or is it something tacked onto the religion later. I'm not rteal sure of the real difference here but I'm inclined to go with a "Sharias Law" as a major part of their religion as opposed to juist a ideology. I think this subject has required me to think a little more than I'm used to I need a nap now. ..:
I guess I agree with you on this one LJ, although religious freedon is an important part of our Constitution it is a subject we maybe we will have to look at a little more closely.
RE: HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT AMERICAN WOMEN WHO DROVE ON WRONG SIDE OF ROAD AND KILLED A YOUNG MOTOCYCLE
I suppose diplomatic immunity is necessary but there should be limitation.
