Does not it stem out of our understanding of equality?
Thing as such does not exist. How can any two people be equal? In what?
We may live by certain rules, that change from land to land and time to time. They are have been artificially imposed by societies to ensure survival of its members. Thou shalt not kill bla bla bla
Everyone is free to do what is not forbidden. Equality in rights. No more.
Equality in obligations is a nonsense.
If so, it's a business relationship for every action is being calculated 'is value his/her actions equals my input into relationship?'
Relationship goes on... M is absolutely adores this W and wants to somehow express himself. He can find no other means but buy her a very expensive ring. He goes into trouble of borrowing/selling smth/sacrificing half of his entire fortune to bring a smile on his W's face for that will bring enormous joy to him.
So now it goes. W says 'you stupid, I can't accept, because you have worked/will have to work hard to pay it all back'
IMHO Your theory is pathetic. Do you really need a woman that has no idea of passion and sacrifice? I think I know a couple. Different names and looks with one distinct feature - they are inflatable.
A man and a woman go on a first date. Then the second and the next. They grow to like one another and learn to trust.
Would you kindly point to me when it is appropriate to break all the hell loose?
W feels that she can trust the M to understand and share the pain of past 'misfortunes'. By this time M already has a certain image of this W and you were this M you would leave this poor W, thus amplifying her pain, for she betrayed your trust by not telling it all on the first date? Or maybe we need to put it all in our profiles?
I do not believe there is a huge gender difference.
Any lie starts off not with a person that says a lie but with their evaluation or a receiving party if the latter is capable of understanding. Then it becomes very easy:
Need to know basis and cut the crap.
So before you say anyone lied to you ask yourself if you were in the position to comprehend and/or strong enough to take it.
That is far as relationships go; lies for monetary/political/etc gains have pretty straightforward explanation.
