Woodstock your heart is in the right place, I think there may be a misunderstanding about how a non profit organization works. A non profit doesn't mean there is no profit. It refers to what you must do with the money that you take in by donations . At a hospital for example, a doctor, nurse, cook, janitor, office staff, lights,gas. All of those expenses MUST be paid EXACTLY like any other business. What non profit refer to is the money that's left over after the expenses are paid. That's the money which goes towards what the business was set up to do.
Giving free health care, feeding the hungry, free housing, free clothing, or whatever.
In a a regular business that's the money that would be the owners profit, to be split among them, or reinvested into the business. A non profit can get money from other businesses , or the government. But that money comes with a lot of red tape, you must do what they tell you to, It their money you're using.

When I was a much younger man than I am today, I did some modeling. A great beauty once gave me an Ultimatum of sorts. She said I can't choose between you and the other guy. I love you both so much ( this is the first I'd heard of the other guy, smile). My response was " you just did" !! She went on to have a great career, but without me !!

Happiness is the only real thing, because when you're not happy nothing else matter. That's the only reason that you would want any of the other things because they MIGHT be to make you HAPPY. Consider: you've met people who have one , or more of those other things who weren't happy. BUT, you've never met a happy person who wasn't happy (smile).

It kind of depends on your purpose doesn't it ?
Example: if you are just joining to have fun in the forums, then it wouldn't matter very much where the person is responding from.
On the other hand if you are looking for dates, then distance may matter.
And then there is this,some people lie on their profiles, so we don't really know where they are. There's one woman on a site who claims to be from Ireland. ( like I believe that, smile)

I always kiss the person above me, after all she's on top of me (smile). That having been said, I also kiss her when she is below me, because then it's my turn to be on top of her,. does this answer your question? (smile)

When you have a complicated problem, it is generally made up of compound problems. Meaning more than one problem. There is no single solution to multiple problems. Certainly gun control is a part of the solution which must be considered. As long as you have criminal, mentally ill people, and people with anger management problems ( and you always will) someone is going to shoot someone. Consider: Obviously, if I have a single shot Musket, which I have to reload after each shot, I'm going to be able to kill fewer people than if I have a machine gun.
There are laws on the books right now which say, murder is against the law. Yet every morning you read about how many people were murdered. That's because you can't legislate morality.

Because there is no one requesting that they not have the right to carry guns.
There are however, people pointing out the fact that they shouldn't be able to carry machine guns.
