Nope...I don't care to feel it....I have felt shame for so many things that weren't mine....once I got rid of it....I no longer do shame...I just stand behind my choices and decisions and take ownership for them instead seeing everything as a lesson rather than apportioning blame and that includes on myself....

While this is certainly true of their coworkers, whom people with the Defender personality type often consider their personal friends, it is in family that their expressions of affection fully bloom.
If I Can Protect You, I Will
Defender personalities are a wonderful group, rarely sitting idle while a worthy cause remains unfinished. Defenders’ ability to connect with others on an intimate level is unrivaled among Introverts, and the joy they experience in using those connections to maintain a supportive, happy family is a gift for everyone involved. They may never be truly comfortable in the spotlight, and may feel guilty taking due credit for team efforts, but if they can ensure that their efforts are recognized, Defenders are likely to feel a level of satisfaction in what they do that many other personality types can only dream of.
I don't like the man but if he can broker this peace deal than kudos to him and I agree it takes one to think like one and that probably the only reason it might get somewhere.....
I think being able to agree to disagree is the best thing about a debate....debate is good and shouldn't have any emotion attached while adding points to back-up a persons stance...arguing comes with emotions attached and a right and wrong component and tries to prove the other person wrong....its circular in that nobody is ever going to change the other persons mind.....agreeing to disagree makes room for each person being entitled to their own opinion no matter what that opinion is....the entitlements are on both sides to have an opinion and to express it....
