My profile reads that I do not want to get romantically involved with an American - is that why you guys here think that I hate Americans ?

No, it has nothing, but nothing to do with hate - I did love my American husband and always will. We were very much in love until the day he died. No more comment to this.

The reason for this statement in my profile is, I have a total different outlook on things and just know that this always would be an issue in a relationship with an American. Also: I do not want to live over there anymore, just because I done that, been there. That simple.

See, you are only human, too you are wondering, too.

Every tax payer is wondering about where the money goes when something big is going on; here, history has been made and it is just normal to wonder how much it did cost... nothing more and nothing less.

But I am actually thinking that this still is being paid partly by the contributions which Obama got for running for president....I could be wrong though....no idea.



And, in order to get all those hate-mongerers off my back:

I do believe that the people of the US do have a chance of a lifetime, of a thousand lifetimes to get it right and to be liked once more by the rest of the world.

People, in some of my threads you have been bashing me as being hateful towards Americans - there is one big mistake in that thought:

I have been married to an American - he was Airforce Pilot, got killed in Iraq...but that is another story - and I have lived among Americans over here in Germany and among other countries, most of the time in the US. I do not hate Americans, but I don't agree with the biased and bigot way of behavior which they are putting towards other countries during the Bush administration.

It is a known fact that the Americans are somewhat oblivious to the rest of the world, not only because they are living in such a vast country but because they seem to only believe what the media puts in front of them. The TVs are in every room of an average American's room, very seldom will you find a home without TV, kids are being put in front of a TV to keep them quiet. That is what bothers me, and it also bothers me in Germany, because once I was back here I saw that this phenomenon had taken over here, too. It is also a known fact, that one's education and bringing up can only be as good as one's educational system allows it. I have taught classes in universities in the US and I feel so sorry for those bright kids there, cause they are bright but are being kept dumb - at least is that my perception.

Do not go around and judge me as being hateful against Americans, you don't know me and you never ever will be understanding where I am coming from because I have a total different and differentiated, diversed education, which you guys will never even be able to imagine. It is so different growing up in another country than the US, so let's keep it straight.

I think, after living for so long in your country and holding a US citizenship and being involved I have the right to be comparing between the way I grew up and was educated and the way the Americans are being raised and educated - and I see a huge deficit there, which hopefully will be addressed by this new president now.
