I have seen a large number of profiles, thread titles and posts which were so badly written, that it makes me wonder how people can get by in this world advertising their lack of education every time they put pencil to paper. I know this has been mentioned many times, but it doesn't seem to induce people to make a little effort to make a better impression when exposing their writing skills to the public, especially when seeking a mate. I can well imagine people being turned down for a job because the interviewer got disgusted reading halfway through their job application. If you look at an example of attrocious writing, say in a profile, with consistantly misspelled words like "ment" instead of "meant" or "i" instead of "I" or sentences beginning with a lower case letter, or no spaces between sentences. Then you look at their specs and see HS or "some college" you have to wonder how the Hell did they ever get through HS?
OK, I feel better now. Thank you for listening. Carry on.

hi i agree with you, they can be loads of reasons people struggle. My son has writing problems and has worked hard all his life to achieve, he has always worked and i am very proud of the man he has grown into. However i know if judged on his writing ability he would be misunderstood. As long as people are understood what the hell, it's a dating site!! Really hate it when individuals are picked out and humiliated by others.

It is ironic that your complaining about others when you have Misspelled words in your own thread.
I can write more correctly than I choose. I at times am in a hurry. Sometimes my shift will not work well. I don't bother to correct it. It is just not an improtant issue to me in this forum. I assure you I can write and used a spell checker. I am sure this is the case with many others here. We came to play!

Some of the most ignorant, lacking in common courtesy and unkind people I have ever met in my life have possessed the best vocab and general writing abilities.
I think I could overlook a few typos if the person had a nice soul!!
