You're right John, it is, and to be honest, I'm a heathen, if it's not Indian or a chipper, it's 'chinese'....or gastro pub...or my late night kitchen...
Is it still an Irish establishment if it's a Chinese restaurant?... Had the most gorgeous mossiman curry in Galway a couple of weeks ago...the drink was horrendously expensive... (you can tell who's a stay at home drinker can't you)....
Come on John, and anyone else for that matter, we need a word that thoroughly encapsulates absolute gender neutrality.... Something that can take the place of any word or phrase that starts with 'man' (seacows are gonna be really pissed off).... This was aired in another thread about tissues, but I don't remember there being a resolution to the discussion....and bingo really has got the mother of all dog breath tonight...
I seem to remember reading somewhere, a list of Shakespearean 'robust language'....brilliant beyond just about anything... Too tired right now to hunt it out, but worth a look if you're in the mood for a giggle...
Not sure what you mean there Pedro, but if you're asking what piece of music speaks to me, well, I suppose this one is quite poignant.... Summing up my dissolutionment with the world state of the last 10 years..
Putting pen to paper, rough designing a custom build caravan... Sure, what else am I going to spend my time and money on if not traveling with my best dog... The view from here is making 19 look pretty good...
Be armed with Mars bars, the only coma I anticipate is the diabetic kind....there's chocolate, and drink involved, and I'll be damned if all the sugar has turned into alcahol...things could get medical in a New York minute...
Good fun this.... Trixie and me, in Galway, long time back, and I did the 'nutter in the lift' routine, phone pressed up to my ear, she's in on it of course, but the others in the lift aren't.... "yes, I've them sorted, no, no, I wasn't spotted, yes, that's right, down at merchants, yes, the saw, that's right, yeah, it was a bit messy, no, I've cleared it up with sawdust...the incinerator, yeah...no, not a trace....ok, yeah, my bank account, the usual one, right, thanks".... *click*.... Ah, carefree days, until they caught me... (only kidding.......or am I?).....
A tub of Roses, hot diggity dang, i love chocolate, and the more there is, the happier I am...and Guinness, imagine Guinness flavor chocolate.....*TAKE MY MONEY NOW*...
Now I say I'm not good with pastry work, BUT..... cheese straws, I make good cheese straws, no, I make fabulous cheese straws.... That would be my offering to the festive shinannagins... (and my-wadi tropical drink, Ooooohhh!)....
Thank you Anna, the feeling is mutual... I don't visit that much now, but I look in from the sides so as to speak, and if something piques my interest I'll sign in... Yourself and John post threads that get people talking, it's been like that since I came back, and to be honest, if you both left, it wouldn't be long before I would loose all interest... Keep up the good work the both of you...
I'm a gurrier, a messer, I like nothing more than to mix it up a bit with humor, and a bit of hard talk... What I am here is what I am there, just not as fat to the naked eye...
Ah well, I suppose I've got my hands in the present, and my feet in the past... I'm up with technology, but stuck in the middle of last century where manners and morals are concerned...and really, it doesn't matter, so long as we're true to ourselves and that that truth has value in this day and age, then what need of change?...
I have one confidante, and she has me...what we wouldn't tell each other isn't worth knowing... Everybody should have one totally reliable sounding board...
It would be nice if this thinking were more widespread... It could offer hope to genuine men who have given up on expecting anything of free dating sites...
Always a welcome here for ya.... I have the ear of 'papa' malloney, the Don of mobile homes, and a few people in land registry who can be 'convinced', if the need were to be... Will pass on your regards to her good self, yeah, 'the sword' indeed...
....and another.... The Equalizer... Edwaed Woodward... John McCall... Music by Stuart Copeland of the police...an early example of grimey street justice drama...
RE: New year .. same old predictable posts !
