In my case: As long as you do your job as properly as within your reach, you are just fine by me... I have no time for slackers...If you want to get paid, you have to earn it...
I guess open-minded changes from person to person, that you are dealing with at that moment. If they have a very negative attitude, you tend to mirror it, and visa versa. But keep in mind that you will know whether their attitude is genuine or not, and it will reflect clearly in your actions towards this person.
Open-mindedness is acquired, through a life where you had encountered all sorts, and had learned how to deal with all...You still tend to give them all the benefit of the doubt though...wanting to kick yourself most of the time after too...
