RE: Trump sticks it where the Sun don't shine up in Michigan

Although Trump is indeed a vile degenerate, I would never say that he is a vile degenerate in public. So I won't say that here is a vile degenerate. No. Not here, though it is most certainly true, and though others have called him worse than a vile degenerate. Some have called him vile while others have emphasized that he is a degenerate. So to put the two together falls to me, though as I've said I wouldn't call him a vile degenerate in public. Could be that his family and spouse call him a vile degenerate, but if so, was it said publicly?

Makes a big difference.

Account Activity

70%, 20%, 8%, 2% sum to 100% for me.

RE: how did you become a millionaire ?

Of course I'd want to be wealthy, but from what I read wealth is as much an affliction as anything else. To be constantly involved with objects is very superficial. And if I were to get money a lot of my energy would be in getting more and keeping what I had.

Since Reagan a lot of tax law and the policies of financial institutions have been rewritten for the wealthy. We have always had an eye out, and sometimes more, for the welfare of the little guy. But Noam Chomsky says that Nixon was the last of the New Deal presidents, and he started the EPA, which the offal in the Oval Office gutted, and it's no secret in whose behalf he serves.

Wee are awash in tsunami of greed.

Account Activity

70% of my activity is scammer.
20% are the clueless that don't know, or just don't consider, if we match.
8% close but no banana.
2% are maybes until until analysis disqualifies them.

Meanwhile I clean my queues of the scammers and the disqualified.

RE: NON-POSTERS~Come Out of The Woodwork, Part 3

I appreciate the responses.

RE: NON-POSTERS~Come Out of The Woodwork, Part 3

My count is 36; first post to this thread.

RE: NON-POSTERS~Come Out of The Woodwork, Part 3

I found this thread ironic because I believe only once did anyone respond to what I'd posted. I know, I know, my political posts are rants exponentiated, and thus in this regard I understand. But otherwise it seems the 12 people go on endlessly glad-handing with very little substance.

I'm used to posting with substance, and have on these forums, perhaps that's the reason why I post without response. But many of you have these staggering post counts that suggest you've been posting as a group for a very long time and thus have little inclination to include the new.

RE: How Many Men Sit Down to PEE ?

When I was 20 I lived in a communal situation, and when the woman found out I stood, they descended on me and ordered me to never do it again. I listened and still do.

RE: Went on the wagon 3 days ago

It's almost impossible to overcome addiction without treatment.
Even if you succeed in giving up alcohol for a time, that doesn't mean that you aren't an alcoholic. The test is that once you take that first drink after abstinence, can you drink with control. An alcoholic has no control.
How much you drank and how often, along with liver damage, say to me that you have a problem. Denial keeps many alcoholics drinking far too long. No one wants to admit they are an alcoholic, especially because that admission ends drinking.

Good luck!

RE: Alcoholism

The last post is mine.

RE: WHAT DO YOU THINK OF WHATS GOING ON IN HONG KONG??

China will roll tanks and march troops with machine guns into Hong Kong. Their economy may have become substantially capitalist, but the pols at the top are hardline against allowing personal freedoms and open dissent comparable to the West. As has been said, think of Tibet and Tiananmen Sq.

RE: Do your ancestors care about you...........?

banana cool banana

RE: McDonalds bans love

The only thing I buy at MD is the buy-one-get-one Egg McMuffin. I stopped eating everything else over 40 years ago. The food is unhealthy, ands there couldn't be a more blatant example of capitalist greed.

But they are almost always busy. . .

RE: Giggity

As I don't know the meaning of "giggity," I betook myself to the Merriam-Webster and Oxford online dictionaries, both of whom fail to give a meaning for the word. Can you say what your meaning is, and perhaps as a bonus also say why the image corresponds to it?

RE: HAITI

If your karma is very bad, you are born in Haiti.

Dating Site Safety by Blocking First

I am curious if you do the above. It's become my practice

I thoroughly scan a profile before emailing, and even if the other has "liked" or viewed me, I look for inconsistencies, and if I spot something, I disengage immediately. If they approach me again, I block them, this without having a word or any substantial evidence. Scammers are often too stupid not to be obvious or obviously crude; they are easy to spot, as in a greeting of "Hi handsome" or inviting offsite communication. They use easily identifiable scammer language. Where do they learn it? Is there a scammer school? Or you question something, and they ignore it and stick to their scamming script.

But what I'm writing about is more subtle. A woman approached me and said:

She was born in the Netherlands. Really? That's unusual.
Then said she had had a fashion business in London, Paris and Madrid. Oh, that sounds so glamorous! But really?
She had a PhD. Really! That's a lot of work.

In the end not believable as very successful and glamorous. I blocked her.

It seems to me that dropping 3 people, two of whom are scammers, is a good trade-off. You?

RE: another piece of land going under water

By denying global warming it will go away.
This VA thing is left-wing propaganda.
Never happened.

Inconvenient to realize that we've made a once verdant country into an expanse of sordid malls and stripped its resources in 200 years.
But hey, everyone knows business is best without regulation.
Is capitalism greed?

RE: Childhood Memories

I was standing on my grand mother's back porch eating a chocolate doughnut, perhaps in conversation with a brother. Suddenly I looked up and knew that I was three.

RE: Zombieland Double Tap

I thought that "Zombieland" was hysterical for the first half-hour, up to and including Eisenberg meeting Harrelson. But I find many stories, including "Zombieworld", that though great initially as they depict the spurt of the initial imagination of the writer, become relatively flat as the story stretches in the plot twists of its elaboration.

RE: what makes feelings/moods...?

Instinct: attachment/craving, anger/fear, shame
Emotion: sadness, happiness
Identity: I am my mood
Intellect: thought in support of the mood
Moods simultaneously fed by all these levels.

mood vs. mood disorder: mood, a "good" or "bad" mood; moods that incapacitate, bipolar, unipolar depression

RE: Hillary In 2020

Anyone, including Hilary, would be a big improvement over the offal in the Oval Office.

RE: Secrets to a Successful Relationship

respect, absolutely no control, loyalty

RE: Who should trans people...share public toilets with?

The North Carolina legislature passed a law regulating same. Mind you, this was passed by "grownups."
The state exposed itself to ridicule and lost a lot of money, so they voted the measure down. Small minds with too much time on their hands.

RE: Thread about aliens

Aliens stole my dentures.

RE: I am glad America is the super power of the world...!

Hiding behind a political manifesto of "keeping the world safe for democracy," since the end of WWII, the US has shamelessly pressured and forced, through a vastly superior military, hundreds of countries to pony up billions of dollars in economic gratuities.

Business money owns our government; most congressman are thoroughly corrupt. Selling out has become the norm and greed wins daily. We have crossed a line and are on the way down, demonstratively, by electing a narcissistic scoundrel president.

One of the chief symptoms of our decline is gun ownership that in the face of great violence spouts John Wayne-style patriotism with abject opinion. The continued legality of guns demonstrates a corruption of spirit in the face of the ongoing massacres.

You may say that guns keep America, become homely, free. Perhaps here I can make a small contribution to the discussion. My idea is that babies gestating should hear for several hours daily the screams of the dying in the latest gun massacres; and at birth the first thing they should feel is a finger on a trigger. Packin' by 5 and shootin' by 10, hopefully with an automatic, because in the land of the brave a coward never knows when he's going to to need to kill a lot of people real quick.

RE: Nothing Breaks Like A Heart

Some say the heart
Is just like a wheel
When you bend it
It can't be mended

But my love
For you
Is like a sinking ship
And that ship is on mid-ocean.

Do you remember what a success Linda Ronstadt's first collaboration with Nelson Riddle was? How like life to bring to the knees by sickness and aging even those so crowned with success. About 5 years ago she disclosed details about her illness, but I've heard nothing since; similar to Joni Mitchell in this regard.
