I have a 21 gears, I only use like 3 or 4 of them, DBS (Norwegian brand) bike... It has 2 wheels, other than that I don't know much about it, had it for years, and it's great... It gets me to and from where I want anyway.
It's just that I've seen it mentioned so many times on here, so it had my mind working...
Freedom, I think i live in a very free country, or in a country with a lot of freedom, sort of like: As long as it doesn't hurt others, you're more or less free to do what you like...
But we don't really put much emphasis on it, it's just the way it is, and has been for quite some time
And that was sort of the point I thinking of as well, that the differences aren't that big, but seems to me that Americans are more "fixated" about the "freedoms"... Do we take them for for granted??
Ever since I've been a member on this site (too long to think about ) I've read several posts about America, by Americans and their "freedoms". A lot of Americans are very quick to mention these...
Call me ignorant (hopefully not, and I' trying not to be), I'm just trying to figure out what "your" "freedoms" are, and are they any different than say what, at least most of Europe are enjoying, as "freedoms"?? Is it something we should all want, from a "western" perspective??
