I would be heartbroken if anything happened to mine... he's my baby! ( Yes I'm one of those people. I talk to my dog as if he's a child)
I ran over a dog a few months ago.... he ran straight in front of me and there was nothing I could do. I stopped straight away, but it was too late. I bawled my eyes out for days afterwards. I still feel upset every time I pass the spot where it happened.
What a lovely invitation. Hope you have a really lovely day.
I'm staying at home this year. Went to my sister's last year and the year before. Making out my shopping list right now. IF I ever get into town again (sick of the snow now) I will order my turkey and ham.
Aww I remember days like that. I used to have to take batteries out of all the singing santas/teddies to get the kids to bed )or even just to hear the tv!)
Christmas is not the same when there are no young kids around.
I still have some decorations that my mother bought my kids when they were small. A little book that hangs on the tree about toys coming alive on Christmas eve and a glittery ball with nativity scene that my eldest christened "disco Jesus".... among others.
RE: Just to Say
You mean ALL the same person, there are sooo many of them. But sure at least we get a laugh at them. They're so sad they're funny.
