FIrst of all this is a dating site so there will be those flirtacious gestures. It's a great way to break the ice. However, I feel we should always be who we are, and by that mean that if we can do or say it online, you should be able to back it up in person. The absolute worst thing you can do is to be someone here you can't live up to in real life. This is my opinion only, but I can say I have always been true to who I am and I think I can be backed up in that statement.
Bottom line to those who are looking...flirt away...but just be yourself too.
really, when it comes right down to it ... what is too quick? and to answer this question is it you answering or someones idea of what too quick is? because ultimately we go to bed each night with our own decisions...no one else has to live with what we do but ourselves.
the problem is society always puts demands on us...be it how long it takes to fall in love, or how we do many other things in our life. I think it's time we take control of our "own" lives and not be so swayed by other peoples opinions. after all...how can you judge anyone until you hhave walked in there shoes? There...my 3 cents worth...lol
Seems you have a lot to offer the right guy. He will come along, and you will find your happiness. I wish you the best of luck, and don't let this experience sway your ideals. Keep looking forward!
it's my opinion that you follow your heart to find love... a strong desire to be with someone isn't enough, and isn't true love. Never give in to your desire to be with someone that you somehow equate that to love when you find someone that wants to be with you. You'll know when it's love and when it's just companionship. Don't settle for less than love, if that's what you're looking for.
As far as I can tell, you must have direction in your life, and without direction, you're lost. The "direction" in our life is relative to our goals of happiness, and to acheive that happiness, we stay focused. Yes, there are many set backs, and bumps along the way, but with a strong, clear vision, our goals can and will be attained.
By the way...good to see some old friends here, welcome back!
