izzy I think you go for it...that way you won't be spending time wondering "what if?". What's the worst that can happen?? and on the flip side...something great may come out of this! Go for it!
Candy, I think you make some very valid points. Unlucky, ur gonna have to be like NIKE and just do it! Has this happened ever before between the two of you, or was this an isolated case? I think the answers to those questions will make it easier to come up with the answer you're looking for. I totally agree...NO PHONE! That's the way we did it in high school, and I would hope we're past that. It's really something no one can answer for you, as we don't know the entire scenario, so as much as I'm sure it's not what you want to hear... You're the only one that knows how to handle it . I though would not suggest going any place that would be considered romantic, but definitely meet with her and hit this thing head on, and don't let it sit and think it will go away on it's on, cuz it won't. Good luck man, just be up front and straight with her, in the end she will be much more appreciative.

Doug, I agree...he should have made it clear in the beginning he wouldn't accept that, and it's not right of him to be forcing the issue now. If he didn't mind you smoking in the beginning, why so much now?
