oops, off to a good start

hello again, been off the site for a while but thought I would stop by with an update, so shaky starts can be a good thing I guess

We met up, got on well and have been spending a lot of time together since

seems a shame not use IM (I dont have a webcam btw) its a great way to get to know someone, email is like writting a letter, without feedback its tough to convey yourself. The only annoying thing about IM for me is very slow repsonses or the other person is obviously having about 8 other Im conversations.

oops, off to a good start

only a couple of days in and I managed to upset someone, but it was a misunderstang honest I was being slightly humourous, commenting on some profile info given and well my humour was lost in the cultural language differences lol Happily we mananged to get past that and after an IM conversation we agreed to meet up sometime, so no offence was taken phew .. I'm sure I will do a much better job of upsetting them in person j/k of course

So anyone else had any terrible starts ?

I like to pick up the bill on a date, I would feel odd if I didn't although I have been on dates where the lady insisted :)

I also like to open a door for people, not just ladies though, its just polite right ?

Arent these things part of making an effort, like having a wash before you go out on a date

Just joined the site, looks great and some interesting people around, was amazed at how quickly I met someone very nice and sincere to chat to. Great site.
