RE: WHICH LIVING PERSON DO YOU MOST ADMIRE?

Truth speaking, there are many people I do admire for how they are and what they do for others....our King and Queen of Spain, all my native sisters and brothers (First People fo America) who still walk our traditional Red Path and guide our young ones to respect, love and beauty inside ; all single moms and dads who do a real good job with their kids and specialy all grandparents who have to raise their grand children for one or another reason; all people from around the world who sacrifice for the higher good helping wherever they can... personaly and or profesionaly....probably I could find even more, but this might give you an idea.

RE: New To Sight

Yea my Cherokee brothers get right into a lady´s heart with their caring sweet ways...when they want to, but to break a spirit is not their way...so I realy wonder what happened...send me private e-mail and tell me so I can help to mend your spirit....and wait until I get hold on that brother...he is in for one....you know we are matriline people.

RE: ALL HONEST MEN AND WOMEN SIGN UP HERE

I am honest to myslef and all my native american people(First People) as a homerule.....now, I do not say everything I could or should to other people....and I definetly have not been honest to our local police here in order to protect some of our african "ilegal"immigrants as I do not agree the way they treat them.
As towards men, I have not always been honest either, as with some I was in love but did not think we were fit to live under the same roof, nor more nor less.

RE: How tall?

You thought yourself too tall ???? I am 5´11 and a 6 feet man would be my right sizeprofessor
and you are right, there is not such a thing as a perfect size or person, all depends on our taste or dreams and no rules are written for that.

RE: haha - Im listening to Elvis - what are you listening to?

Elvis has opened the way to many other Cherokee mixed heritage singers and actors, like Tina Turner, Cheers....Elvis cousin Chuck Norris (Texas Rangers), Johnny Depp,........
I listen to Olivia Tailfeathers Buffalo song.....cheerful and sweet to brighten my day and give me strength to what I want to create....even she is not Cherokee .-)

RE: I am quite save to believe I am the oldest on this forum..........

I bow to your widom and true heart....sure you have no native heritage somewhere????? Within some months I be half a century and go for a 130....much toooooo long to stay alone, even so I do not look for my soulmate anymore as he passed on 12 years back, but there must be the man I choose to put my hand into his and walk to gether towards sunset. In the meantime, there are many people on and out of internet to share with.
My secret is also never to allow any man to give me hard time...no good base for a true relationship.
By the way, my neighbour is Waldo, 72 and still being coach at the Cracks soccer school here, after his highly sucessful time on the pitch, he is looking as well, original from Brazil .-)

RE: WHAT`S THE MOST IMPORTANT LESSON LIFE HAS TAUGHT YOU?

Take advantage of the negative things that happen to you.

I always try to find a benefit from the misfortunes. Things can't be totally sad...if you have health. It seems that our health belongs to God[/quote

Sorry to contradict you here Cristina, health is the simple but true reflection of what people think and feel....though some are much tooooooooo lucky inspite of all they spìt out at others, but their time is not over yet.
Nowdays you can already get a book with alphabetic list of sicknesses and which emotion or constant thoughts have created it and how to undo.....and it works perfectly if you are honest with yourself....to the huge and amazing eyes of all medical doctors who used to attend me when I still needed them....by now, I am more concious of what I am doing to myself head banger

RE: WHAT WOULD YOU CHANGE ABOUT YOURSELF?

Hi Rusty, happy to see our shining knight back again. In order to find inner peace and loss of ego...which is our native warrior path (not the ones who go to war, but the ones who fight their "inner enemies" of ego and other negativities.....we try to accept first of who we realy are deep inside and from there a long path of inner work, not being afraid of feeling vulnerable, or to open our hearts to forgive, share and love, even cry if there is sadness. Making a strong stand to find out why we need to get angry or have other negative emotions....in Cherokee traditions, we call it the Two wolves fighting inside of us.......which one will win at the end????....The one you feed.
Inner peace means also to be deeply grateful for all we are and all we have, to know that all will come by its given time and our path in life is about learning, overcoming the need to struggle and flow with the universe......so sit back, observe and learn your lessons...the rest comes by itself.

RE: I can't believe what I read here sometimes.

hey everybody...it s time a grandma stands up for kiddos, as truth speaking...I remember from my chidhood, kids (about your age now) gathering in groups and throwing stones on other kids or strangers, not to speak of those thumb gums acting like weapons in the back of the teachers...uiiiii and they hurted....so what do you expect from this generation brought up with the violence in cartoons and movies, TV news to say no more....following nice example of their adults?????
Personaly, I have no troubles with Hip Hop kids as they just react to all the pressure of.......In Germany, each year when school was finished, we were told to leave quick as one or two had hang themselves up because they feared their fathers getting rough at them for school marks....MARK my words, the life of a child for good damn school marks....and you wonder they take over now?????

The teacher of my daughter when only 6 years old, forced the whole class to be on their knees during the hour, but when she corrected him because of his spelling which proved to be wrong....huhu
My junior brother endured a whole year a mentaly sick teacher who tore the hair out of kids, threw the keys at them....which made one kid to loose both front teeth.....ridiculize a Contergan kid by smearing chalk into her face (you might remember the Contergan kids were born with hands but without arms) and if I should talk about more teachers giving nice example....well, you might find more than just one.
Who wonders that with nice belt treatment, kids grow up to get their guns....I do not.

RE: Do any of you get weird when in a relationship??

Wonderful Ekspain, it s high time more men do open up and say how they feel about....which helps a lot to the general relationships of true love, not just pretending to be tough. My deepest respects

RE: Do any of you get weird when in a relationship??

Wild, savage, crazy in a funny way...yes, but weird confused
having in mind all the people surrounding me...I wonder and wonder and wonder why they say on TV that every 2 out of 5 people are weird

Oh boys, you got it all wrong......there is a boy for every girl as no comment about taste, but being smart inside makes up for much outside...now reading profiles without pic is kind of boring...unless you let your fantasy free.....and that could be worsekiss

RE: How important is freedom to you in life ?

Does my humble opinion as a Cherokee native count, or would you prefer to ask about freedom in the USA any of our tribal members of the 550 official recognized Native American First People´s Nations serve you better?????????????????? having in mind I am a very free and independant spirit, personaly I prefer the freedom I do have here in Spain.

RE: Equality, do women really want it

WOW boys, at least a serious thread and highly interesting.
Let´s have in mind that my Cherokee Nation are matriline as much as Iroquoise, means equal rights and duties for both, men and women, since beginning of times, with common sense....means just as men are not able to give birth, women are not able to certain other abilities men might have....
Personaly, I have been mother and father, woman and man (=taking care of home and kids, bread earner as to say so)
fixing everything at home,.....saving the neck of 2.ooo men in a riot being in front row and facing anti-riot police, seeing them back into their vans and let us continue.....some of the guys who were there still now, after 19 years, look at me in awe. Next to being very lady like when the situation requires it, never asked anybody to do my dirty jobs, but am delighted by flowers and candlelight dinner as romantic as any....and would love to find a man I could trust with my eyes closed, one I could feel proud to walk next to him....
Now as to doing military duties...sorry boys, I did not give birth to any of my children, nor did I raise them to kill or get killed by fools who just know how to atted orders from a beserk goverment fool who likes to play with his tinn soldiers and forgets that we are real humans

RE: When you broke up....was it bad??

When I walked out on my former husband, there were just 2 things I do remember:
1st: he said "if you ask for any money, I take the child away from you" and I answered very calm: "If you want to die, just try" I never asked for money for myself but for a share to feed our son, which...after he refused to pay during 3 years, was taken away from his salary before he got his share.
2nd: he said "NOBODY will love you again the way I did."......thanks to God, that came true.

RE: IS there any Real women Exist to dare a young guy???
