The first time was '94 and I was behind a bar the Les Halles area of Paris..It was a Friday evening and there was a thunder storm and two girls walked in like drowned rats..something clicked with one of them...She returned the following night looking amazing, a few years she gave me two fantastic kids..unfortunalty the fairy story didn't have a happy ending...c'est la vie.........
As for the second..she is someting else, I'm mean she's cookin', just her look would melt a snow man in the North Pole.......
For those of you who don't know I come from the very murky streets of Belfast. And over the 40 yrs it got a very bad press, thats not the reason for the thread. Belfast is also the home to some very well known people both alive and dead....
1... My very goodself
2....George Best (footballer)
3.....Van Morrison(singer)
4......C.S. Lewis(author)
5......Freddie Gilroy(world champion boxer, came from my neighbourhood)
I haven't touched anything since yesterday afternoon, even then all I had was a beer..
I never once said butcher....I said a reversible op not the same thing... NSPCC, mother worked for them for 25yrs ..I just said it would make people take thier job as being a parent more serious..Simplifiy it..Would you let someone who has never driven before take charge of a car. Or would you say..back up and do an exam..
Family courts..lawyers who screw you for every penny you have and most of the laws are not designed evenly they are stacked in favour the mother...
I am not being bitter at all..I know lots of great dads, I'll start with my own..
But by having the op, would also help the population going through the roof..Maybe also help bring an end to famine. Make people think about what being a parent really means..
You don't have to earn lots of money to be a parent, just have thought the idea through properly....
The original question was why do people divorce not about being a responsible parent. But by having the op surely you can limit the damage done when the word divorce rears it's ugly head..
If I come across as bitter, it's because I have a daughter a 14, who also has problems tryin' to see her brother and sister..
Simply it's easier..most women when they decided to have children, I like to believe, want them for the right reasons, while a lot of guys don't..generally when couples split it is the woman who has to bring up the kids and blokes shirk the responsiblities..And it's the woman who carries the can.
Although on second thoughts , you have a good point. Put them all under the knife. And make everyone take the exam, some bad women out there too....
I know where you are coming from. My ex is doing the same to me today, my two smallest are 7/8 yrs old.. And it is a real struggle to get to see them. When they ask me why their mother doesn't want me to see them my only response is..I'll tell you when you are both bigger..Although they have started to figure things out for themselves.
Unless they divorce through violence of some form or other, then both parents should be adult and see through there pettyness and realise that at the end of the day it's the kids who pay the price.
There is of course a radical solution..Every male child is sterilised at birth, with a reversible operation..And when they want to start a family they take some sort of exam to see if they are responsible enough to be a parent..If they pass reverse the op. If they don't pass then they can always resit the exam....
People divorce for a mutlitude of reasons..I could probably rattle of half a dozen with out even thinking about it..
But your question concerned the effects of separation/divorce has on children. Unfortunatly there are some very stupid adults who use thier kids for footballs.
Also a lot of people today go into marriage with out having thought the idea clearly..of what exactly being married to someone actually means..taking the rough with the smooth, the ups with the downs.....
