I do not riducule people who believe in God, i respect their right to believe.
But just because we may not live in a war zone, or have experienced a natural disaster, does not mean we have not seen and been affected by loss, that has had no reason or sense, that is what i was questioning
If someone posts a thread like this i assume they have a good understanding of what they worship, and as its a forum for discussion not a blog, they would be able to explain or give some insight on what and why they believe what they do.
There is much i genuinely dont understand that is why i asked the questions i did.
Now that is where my problem starts, you say it depends on your actions what has a child done that is a victim of an earthquake, a bomb or are beaten to death, die thro illness?
Guess i will never understand.
And for those who think i am being difficult i am not, i am asking questions because, i just cannot see how all this suffering can be justified.
Sorry but but i don't think the people who are starving, dying because of natural disasters, and innocent victims of war,( I could go on) would feel they have much to thank God for, maybe his a selective God
