I appreciate your honesty Wish. I would warn you " Be careful what you wish for" and , you may think the odds are you won't be subject to McCain's pro-life laws . But sometimes we are the 1% who get caught . I realize no politician has our desires in 100% compliance .
Good for you and them, Maybe they were lucky and didn't see their friends dismembered before them. The ones I talked to went back for more as well , one is a medic, and because he wanted to help . Afganastan had justification for invasion , Iraq didn't, was simply pushed by a president with a personal vendetta and warlord ego.
JLW, I know what your thoughts are about this. Unfortunately , these kids do over there for the excitement of battle . I have personally seen the absolute change in a few kids that went over there . They left with excitement and enthusiasm only to see their buddies blown to pieces right before their eyes. They came home shocked and with an entirely different tune about war and this government is all about . When asked if the war is doing any good , they simply state their duty to finish the job. They don't realize the job can't be finished the way they think it should . We'll own that place for 20 years to come ................
What is a single American life or 10000 American lives to a man who is doing that ? " A tragic waste " We've only served to stirr up a hornet nest over there , increase hatred towards us , and we'll NEVER create peaceful stability for them. They don't want it ..... they've been fighting each other for hundreds of years . It's their way of life. Who do we think we are - imposing our democratic ways upon them ? They want to do things theri own way . And , if instability becomes nuclear , NATO with a world unification needs to step in - not the USA alone ! We simply can't afford this anymore. We have our own problems right here at home .
Have you sat down and watched the pictures of those kids killed - played back in silence on the tube ? I have, and it really really disturbs me greatly ! This is more of what the price of "ignorance " costs. Those kids are dieing for politics. They're real kids, young kids, innocent kids who went there for the excitement of battle .
Bush still has our kids in Iraq, and their getting blown to pieces by I.E.D's daily .................... and for what ? What is that getting us ? Is THAT any different than what you suggest Clinton did ?
"Ignorant" defines a thought process where one chooses to ignor reality and is in denial , "Stupid" suggests not in possession of a working thought process ...................
Would it make any difference if I boned-up on all the statistics and technical information on the two candidates to dazzle you with my political whisdom ?
Maybe you should go back and listen to the first presidential debate .................. If it doesn't sound like the same old crap - I don't know what to say to you . Have carrots stuck in your ears boy ? Go back and listen to it ok ?
SKY, thank you .......... I really wish I could remain cool and calm like you. But this stubborne conservative mentality and recent events really has me pissed-off. The country is almost in shambles because of it. I'm gonna call a spade a spade every chance I get. Bet these guys have Nascar checkered - flags hanging off their eves.

Here in California we don;t take the same old moron path. We think outside the box, and we occasionally make a mistake - but nothing ventured-nothing gained. I'm not a DEM , I go with my gut feeling in judge of personality. I see McCain as a guy who wants to do the right thing , but he's an old war hero. He sounds like a broken record - ranting about " we need to cut government spending" that's it ..... he has nothing else to offer.
Thanks, I knew I spelled that wrong ! No, actually I have determine this after many conversations with Repubs and asking why they didn't want some real change in an administration. All of them were in tatal denial and claimed that we weren't in a recession, there was no global warming, and Bush continues to be doing a great job...............unbelievable denial.........!! I am enkightened , I travel alot for adventure. People everywhere outsode this country absolutely hate Bush and are terrified of him - they associate him with how they believe people in this country think. Hinda like you knucklehead !
